this is a question to all iphone owners and users. just curious, is the ring volume low on iphones even if you turn it up max level?? like i can hear it, but its not as loud as a regular phone. the ringer is soft, not loud. is this just the phone itself?? or has any other of you have problems? thanks!! 😁

So there is this message that pops up on certain web sites:
"You are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is not trusted"
It then gives me the options:
Continue
Close Connections
View certificate
Trust certificate
Right now I just select continue, but then it pops up everytime. If I select "Trust certificate" it wants me to "please choose a new key store password" When I type in something random it says "invalid password. sequence was entered."
Is there a password I should know? How do I figure out what the password is supposed to be?

So I'm visiting a friend on the other side of town and my phone (W810i) keeps going from E to G and vice versa. My friend's phone is doing it too. Do you guys think this has something to do with the TDMA shut down?

Just picked up a Nokia 6126 and opened it last night. I didn't realize it would be so heavy... the dummy phone at Radio Shack is so much lighter, which is something I didn't think about at the time.

Although I'm partial to Nokias, I remember checking out the Samsung A437 during a previous visit to the store... seems like a nice, light and compact phone... is it worth considering?

Am also considering paying $29.95 for the slimmer and lighter (compared to the 6126) Nokia 6555, whereas the 6126 and A437 are free. BTW I'm getting two phones for a two-line family plan.

In late January, there was a thread in this forum pertaining to upcoming new phones. A couple of people in the loop stated that the Palm Centro (in white) was due to be made available for AT&T on February 12.

Was the date pushed back? I couldn't find any additional information here or on AT&T's site. One of my friends is quite keen on getting one when it finally becomes available.

1) The TDMA and/or analog network is scheduled to be shut off on Feb 18 or 19. All TDMA and/or analog customers need to upgrade by then or they will lose service. Correct?

2) I am an old AT&T Wireless/Legacy Blue customer with a GSM phone. Will old Legacy Blue customers with GSM phones be affected?

We recently got a USBConnect 881 for our kiosk laptop. It seems to work okay when it wants to. Wednesday, it ran fine all day. Today, I have had to disconnect and reconnect and restart the computer several times. I know that the signal depends on the GSM/GPRS/EDGE signal (no 3G in our area yet), but is there any way to speed it up a little. Are there some settings or maybe a special web browser I could use? I have noticed that AT&T handsets have a noise to them, as if the network is trying to communicate with them. I did not notice this with my VZW handsets, so I am thinking it is a GSM thing.

So yeah, I seriously considering the LG Viewity, but I since the phone is unlocked it doesnt have the AT&T browser profile thingy that enables you to like access the internet and what not. I know t-mobile can send you the profile, but can AT&T? I dont really want to ask them because then they are going to be assholes and make me sign up for a data plan that I dont want.
