The truth is... there really is no such thing. ALL wireless companies have what they call "reasonable usage" clauses that basically give them a loophole to cancel anybody at anytime for any reason.

Now, in the case of Verizon wireless, they are admittedly far less strict with their roaming policy. That doesn't mean however, they would allow someone to constantly roam 24/7 for months and months at a time. Why? Simply put, there's no money in it. For all of the arguments and rationalizations to the contrary, Verizon is in business to make a profit. If it's costing them more to keep a subscriber than that person is creating in revenue, they're history! Ladies and gentlemen, it's just simple mathematics.

8 years I have had my business on AT&T. I have 175 users on my business account. We travle all over the US, and out West is all Roaming. We are located in Texas, and last week or so when AT&T's network was out cost me money.

I will be switching my business over to Verizon PTT this comming week. And about the Roaming with Verizon, I was talking to a CSR today and they told me they have Unlimited Roaming and do not end contracts due to excessive roaming usage.

Another business we work with in Dallas of 150 will be switching this comming week from Sprint to Verizon.

Everyone who has a Blackberry or iPhone in Texas, especially in the Austin and Central Texas area are experiencing horrific number of dropped calls, busy signals, constant congestation notices on their phones. This is affecting all AT&T phones I'm told, 2.5g and 3g. AT&T employees and managers call it: DEATH STAR. AT&T reportedly has had this issue now for 3-5 months, but is too cheap to go in and upgrade their network so if you're getting huge amount of dropped calls you may want to begin switching over to another carrier. If you're in the San Marcos, TX area good luck as most calls can't even get out or placed.

Anybody figure out when AT&T is gonna start offering DirecTv in anywhere in New England except Connecticut? We got the news last month and I haven't heard anything since.

Ok...So I can't get a prepaid iphone 3g from at&t....but can I buy one on say ebay, unlock it, and pop in my sim card from a prepaid phone that I get from them? I know this is crazy...but they want an 800.00 deposit from me....and im just not willing to pay 1000.00 for an Iphone.

I was told over a year ago it would be ready for prepaid/fullprice soon...but havent found that to be true...yet....

I live in Texas, and I am currently on a family plan. My business causes me to travel all over Texas, and I need a carrier that can work in all the small towns (i.e. Seguin, Schertz, Mexia). I'm currently faced with the tough decision of Verizon or T-Mobile. Sprint is out of the picture due to unfortunate past experiences, and I don't want to stay with AT&T due to unsatisfaction. Any opinions?

I would like to just start by saying i work/worked for att and i am smart enough not to have them. If you suppose ATT you need to reconsider right now. As we speak ATT is laying off employees and getting 3 for 1 when they outsource to the Phillipines. Who by the way are the most annoying people to talk to because they cant even speak english..... If you are supporting att you are against the American economy because they are firing good hardworking employees and hiring a bunch of people that dont even know how to speak our damn language. In my last period here i hope that att and everyone that is ok with this burns! Thanks for helping to slowly destroy the American economy. DIE ATT!

Who are ATT's roaming partners?

I pull up ATT's coverage tool and look at an area blanketed with the 'partner' coverage. But the only other GSM carrier available in my area is TMO and they don't offer coverage in that area.
Heck, VZW doesn't even show coverage there (although from personal experience I know VZW works in that area).

So I'm just wondering how ATT can say they have 'partner' coverage in an area no one else offers coverage? 😕

anyone have any Medium at&t or Cingular shirts they want to get rid of?

they have some on ebay, don't feel like purchasing any "authorized retailer" ones from land's end because i have all the ones i like from there

I really don't see anything that catches my eyes... I currently have a razr 3xx (or whatever it's called) and enjoy the basic phone with a battery that doesn't give me a hard time... I look at the options available and nothing really grabs my attention. I was always curious to jump back into the PDA world and i owned a BB Bold for like a week (Awesome phone) but I just don't use the features and what not. Is ATT planning any new Moto phones in the near future? I saw the Nokia Fold, seems like a nice phone but I have become so use to Motorola I'd rather not change.

De La Vega says Nokia has a facility in San Diego to develope more U.S. friendly handsets, and De La Vega says it doesn't make sense to make a handset in Europe but not test it's radio in U.S. cities, well guess what my Nokia N95-3, NOT tested & "approved" by AT&T WORKS just fine in the U.S. city of Las Vegas, Nv. It has worked fine for me for 16 months.

And De La Vega talked about data speeds, he made mention of speeds of 7.2, 14.4, and 20mbps, when REAL WORLD, END USER speeds aren't even at 3.6mbps. De La Vega obviously isn't someone I take very seriously.

a friend of mine just got a blackjack II from her cousins boyfriend and the phone says it can only be used with a specific sim. he did not put in a code and does not know what it could be. i called att for help and they told me to call samsung who in turn told me to call att back. can someone please help me so she can use this phone. thank you in advance

I was at the store about 2 months ago asking about the iPhone nano, but the agent wouldn't sell me one and he told me that the Quickfire was actually smaller than the iPhone3g but he didn't have any iPhone3g's in the store to compare between.

2 weeks ago i ordered a car charger from ebay for $6 I should have noticed that it was a little harder than normal to plug the phone into the charger but it was my first time using it. i had the phone resting on my lap so i could feel it vibrate if someone called while i was rocking out to Carrie Underwood. A couple of years ago my girlfriend was with at&t and she had a motorola v400. Since then she has moved onto a different cell phone carrier but lately she has really been wanting to get the pictures she took on that old phone onto a pc. I've got the usb adaptor for the phone but once its plugged in I cant for the life of me figure out what to do next. The phone does not show up as a device on the computer like I expected it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
