Android Vs new phones?

I'm up for an upgrade... I LOVE the idea of the Android... Not to hot looking but as long as it performs what I need I guess that does not matter but I'm wanting to know what else is possibly coming out before I waste my money on something I will want to return... I don't want to wait to long and the phone goes up another 300$ and I can't afford it... IDK... Idea's?

customer service vs cell service (plus a rant!)

i left sprint/nextel (which had awesome cell service, but really bad customer service) and went to t-mobile (which has awesome customer service, but really bad cell service).
which brings up my question... would you rather have good customer service or cell service.

**here is my rant!
personally, i don't care if i have to wait until i go to work to be able to check my messages, just as long as when i have a problem i know it's going to be corrected.
i have had problem after problem with sprint service. i was promised a free instinct (which was clearly notated on my account), but i had to FIGHT sprint in order to recieve 200.00 off the retail price of the phone. this all comes after some lady placed the order for the full retial price o...

T-Mobile Data Plans

I just went to the TMO website this morning and looked to see if they changed the plans. I noticed that the Total Internet price is now $39.99 per month. I have the Dash and I have the $19.99 Total Internet. Is that still offered but just not listed? If the cheapest is now $40 I'm sure going to keep my $20 plan! $40 seems a little steep.

Someone help me if I am misunderstanding this.

Tmo people I need help deciding about the G1 and Tmobile.

Here's the deal, I've been with ATT for almost 7yrs, and I currently use an unlocked/unbranded Nokia N95-3. I love my phone, and at times ATT's 3G network can be snappy fast.

While at the same time I hear a lot of good things about Tmobile. And I really, really do believe the Android platform has a whole lot of potential. I also think it's cool to have Amazon mp3 store preloaded, there's been times I've paid $7/$8 dollars for a whole CD on ebay when I really only wanted 1 song, I could pay .89 cents at Amazon's mp3 store for that one song, and download it over the air directly to my G1.

Now with reguards to the logistics of potentially changing over to Tmo. I am not under contract, haven't been for almost 3yrs, but I do have my mother ...

Now getting less coverage with Tmobile, lame

I was checking the 3g coverage on watson to see if 3G covers where I live in mesa yet and I noticed that all of the roaming coverage in North East Arizona that Cell One provides has been removed from the coverage map, they used to allow roaming on it. I was thinking about getting the g1 phone but not now, I go up to NE Arizona all the time and at least ATT allows you to roam off of the Cell One towers. Does Tmobile plan on building out in the Show Low Pinetop area, if not than there is no way Im switching now.

Prepaid Technical Issue

Hello,

I recently purchased a Nokia 2610 and activated it on the pay-as-you-go prepaid plan. The issue I am having occurs when someone tries to call me. After they hit the last digit of my phone number, there is a 15 second delay before they hear ringing in their earpiece, and beflore my phone starts to ring. In other words, the caller hears blank air for 15 seconds, then often they think they hit the wrong number, hang up, then try again, and the same thing happens. The delay is always there, it is not intermittent. The retail store has swapped out the phone, the SIM card, and even tried a different phone number. Technical support is stumped, and said that is just how the system is. ?????
Just how the system is???? I think that ...

Blackberry Clam Shell Release

The 8220 used to be known as the kickstart .. the first Blackberry clam shell will be released on 10-13 according to a TMO agent I spoke with today.

I am guessing this will be the last new BB released this year. (aside from the upcoming Pearl colors).

Ordered my G1 here is something I found out.

When you login to MyTmobile and upgrade that way, the phone will not be charged to your bull until it ships. I was curious if you had to pay for it up front then wait. So good news there.

Later,

Justin

P.S. I got the black one

No more ATT?

I had heard rumors that Tmo was no longer going to use ATT as a roaming partner. Looks like it is true, as in MN PCC shows no coverage up north anymore. Looks like we just stepped back in time to 2004. Nice.

Coverage in Central Illinois and Rural Areas

I was wondering if anyone knows what coverage is like in east central Illinois? My brother has Tmobile in Chicago and he has no problems...he loves it. I have a different carrier and I am sick of the high prices and spotty service. How is Tmobile in rural areas? Are there plans for Tmobile to get more coverage? The coverage map on TM site is really hard to figure out where is good coverage. Thanks in advance

completely unacceptable!

I have been with T-mobile for three years now. I live in West LA (where the city's population exceeds 10 million people). I was on an important phone call with a person driving from Northridge to West LA. T-mobile claims that the entire route the person was taking should have fine coverage. We are both using T-mobile phones. T-mobile dropped my call 8 times. I counted. It got to the point where I couldn't talk for more than 30 seconds before her voice started cutting out and the call was dropped altogether. I find this unacceptable. I love the prices and the customer service, which is why I have been with T-mobile for a while. But when the company claims that I should have no dropped calls in zones that their signal covers, I expec...
