Anyone else have email issues with the G1? My gmail is working great on the phone, but I also added my comcast accts and they are not working. They will recieve one email and that is it. It gives you an option to load more messages, but when you choose that, it says "loading more messages", but nothing happens and goes back to the "load more messages" option. It does not pull down any of my new emails as the come in and if you try to do a refresh or then I get a connection error. I'll called Tmobile last night and no one could find a reason for this or a way to help me. I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I can't understand why its having these issues when its supposed to support POP3 email. Any have any ideas/suggestions?? 👿

I have stayed with tmobile for a year and a month. and, i am so-so proud of t-mobile. Its just where I live, they have decent coverage, but 95% of the people in my town are with cingular. To see the coverage in my area. http://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/ go here, and then in the zip code:35653 and when youve done that, you should see a street labled: Waterloo Rd. Cleck on the left of the "W" and that is where i live... its just that cingular has more coverage, and with the rollover/M2M, why should I stay with tmobile?

Bassically, I am asking, what seperates tmobile from the rest of the companies?

Does anyone have information of T-Mobile releasing a new sidekick? I'm aware of the Sidekick 2008 but I was told that there would be a new one coming soon. Any truth to this? Thanks!

WOW! some people already got their g1 today as of this morning so if your ordering one be expecting yours soon. i mean the phone is ok. no body so far has sounded EXCITED about getting their phone. mostly general questions but thats it other then that they sound kinda bumbed. but maybe its a more concentrated tone. but enjoy.

So appearently Tmo is doing something AT&T refuses to do, get involved in the high-end camera phone market! A camera phone people can actually USE as a camera phone! Congratulations

i know there's a way to request new towers in your area with sprint, but does t-mobile have a program like that?
i have zero service at my house and have to walk/drvie about 10 miles until i can find a little service.

I understand that as of right now, the G1 won't have Microsoft Active Sync, so having work email set up on the phone will not be possible. Has anyone heard of how long it will be before this situation is rectified? Seems shortsighted to me to limit the usage of the phone to non-work users. I'm excited about getting the phone, but totally bummed i can only use for personal and not work too.

I love working for T-mobile, finally I don't have to wait until it is realesed so I can order it...Too bad we can only order the brown one.

the model above has some issues playing mp3 and rebooting but v7.1 firmware is supposed to fix all that. It's available for orange and many other carriers but when i try to update it using nokia software update utility it tells me that my version 5.91 is the latest available. I take it that tmobile hasn't approved the latest firmware yet. Anyone has any idea when it will be released.

Ok,so I work for T-Mobile and I have a few things to say and ask about the G1.

1st thing is that alot of people are saying the G1 is trash,not seeing it's true potential . it IS an android,which means it can be fully customized. This is already a huge draw in, for me atleast. I actually looked at the phone today,had about an hour or so with one,it is a very nice phone other than a few small problems,it looks to be a very nice phone in the near future.

this question I have is to anyone who may know more than me about the G1..

Will it be unlockable? Because I would love to get a G1 and use it with my sprint services..

So, I work for Sprint in a call center. Near perfect attendence for 8 months. Graduated with honors, and start college in Jan. Sprint has continually messed up my commision, and messing up my raises.

How does the commision for stores work?
Considering applying, and what is the process?
I have been told it is difficult to get hired on.

If I was to buy an unlocked IPhone, would my data plan with T-Mobile work on the IPhone?

I think it would be nice if pre-ordering was available on phones that are known to be big sellers. I think this may be the 1st phone available for pre-order ever in the wireless industry, at least that I know of.
