T-Mobile vs. Cingular

Hi.

I've been with VZW for a number of years and have been very unhappy. My contract is finally about to end and I'm trying to decide between T-Mobile and Cingular. Sprint does not work in my building.

My needs are as follows:

- Probably a minimum of 900 mins. (currently get by with 450 because most people I know are VZW)
- Prefer Mac compatibilty if possible (NOT interested in the iPhone, too $$$$, too big)
-High quality phone service and minimal call droppage (huge problem for me w/VZW)
- Good quality, well-priced data plans
- Good, timely, and reasonable customer service, in store and via phone
- The biggest bang for my buck (I don't have hundreds to spend on a phone or my cell bill each month)

I'm looking for feedback...

Blackberry Pearl Service - Orange County, CA

I was a long time Verizon user but now I am considering getting the BB Pearl with T-Mobile because for the money I can get more from T-Mobile it seems. I travel all over the US for work and want a reliable service. Most important though the phone has to have the features I want and the Pearl seems to but how well does the service work in my area? I hear so many mixed reviews its hard to tell.

Anyone with the BB Pearl in OC here? Comments would be great.

Thank you

JM

ok so what's up with T-Mobile HotSpot @Home?

I've been patiently waiting since like September when I first heard of it...

Is t-mobile finally going to release the service in other markets?

For those who don't know about it...

You can get a myFaves 300 plan for 39.99.... and at t-mobile HotSpot @Home for 19.99.

This MEANS that you will get the following:
- unlimited calling to any 5 numbers of your choice
- unlimited nights
- unlimited weekends
- unlimited calling whenever you're in your house
- perfect signal inside your house
- unlimited calling at any HotSpot, which includes thousands of Starbucks, and hotels.

Not bad eh? Plus, you get a router in your home. The router costs $50 but you get a $50 rebate so its basically free.

The router is there because when ...

contract.

Okay, here's the deal:

About 2 weeks ago, I got a new Samsung Stripe free with a contract for T-Mobile, and they said something about 20 days for the phone. I scratched it a couple days later, (I'm clumsy, please don't slam me for that ☹️ ), and the screen also cracked a bit. It hasn't been 20 days since I got the phone yet, so does that mean I can trade it in for a new phone or not? Do I have to keep it? Any answers?

Baltimore Metro Coverage

I'm torn between Tmobile and ATT. Tmobile call quality is much clearer and has much less drop outs, but it seems coverage is spotty and limited at best versus ATT. I need coverage in Carroll and York county PA. I also travel to Arizona on business. What would you guys recommend? Love Tmobile customer service.
Thanks!

TMOBILE ROAMING???????

OK>............

I used to have tmobile a while back but the reason I am asking this question is because I cannot remember,

The places on Tmobile you have absolutely no coverage>>????? BEcause my friend has tmobile and every where on that map they do not have service that is in the light gray area she will roam off of cingular or some other company. I am currently located in ATLANTA, GA and am thnking about going back to tmobile because all of my friends are downsizing and I am trying to make it easy for them to call me and not rack up a big phone bill.

But my question is in the light gray areas do you just not have any coverage or do you roam they just dont tell you ????????

Thanks

Thinking of switching to T-Mobile looking for pros & cons

I'm currently with Sprint and thinking of switching to T-Mobile. I would like to find out what the good & bad of T-Mobile is.

Are there any quirks in their service? For example while I was with Cingular I had several incoming calls that I could hear the caller but they could not hear me. This happened about 3 out of ten calls and would force me to hang up and call back.

The T-Mobile phone I'm thinking of buying is a Nokia 6133 - any feedback on that?

Any one from the New Jersey area have T-Mobile? Do you like it?

Thanks
