I called t mobile the other day and they told me that i would be able to get a phone with them since i stay in nc and there are no t mobile stores here and that i would just get an out of state number. My questions are how well does t mobile work in nc? And would it be worth getting it? I want a blackberry. My phone bill would be like 100 bucks with t mobile but with cingular, who is my current phone company, it would be like 167 bucks. I was also considering switching to verizon. my bill would still be around 167 but at least i would have insurance on my blackberry. cingular told me that if i was to lose the blackberry i would just have to buy another one. WTF 👿 thats alot of money$$$$$$$$$$$$ thanks for any advice 🙂

i heard that t mobile is supposed to get a version of the cingular curve but its name is different and that it is supposed to have more features. Does any one know of this and if so does any one know when it will be released? thanks 🙂

I had called customer service because for some reason my phones have been turned off. I had just paid a bill for $220.00 LAST WEEK. When a women named Arjeryia answered the phone, I had asked her why they were shut off, she said because of an outstanding balance, well how could that be? I just paid last week. She had told me they were shut off because of RESTOCKING fee's that were not paid. ( I had done an exchange on my blackberry because it was for somereason shuting off on me.) I asked how much the restocking fee was and she told me it was $300.12...... WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY???. So I just got the blackberry pearl signing a new contract with TMobile and cancelling my previous carriers contract. I have a lot of friends that have the Pearl and I've never noticed it on theirs, but I'm having some issues:

The audio is really low on it. The volume while on speaker phone seems like that should be the regular earpiece volume.

Whenever I go into my menu from the main screen it comes up slow. Like you can gradually see it appear. its weird.

So...my question is: is this how the Pearl works, or should I take it back?

Good evening all. So I have had the Wing for almost 24 hours and am loving it. The voice dialing and interaction are awesome Need a little help with a few things. I can speak commands to dial, open calendar, check time, etc. My coworker's Wing announces calls by speaking the callers name or number. I can not find how to make this happen, I have been in and out of every menu. Second item, is a music question. I have loaded music onto a micro SD card and can make it play no problem. I was told that to use music as a ringtone I have to have it in the ringtone folder in my documents, how do I get it there from the card? Thanks for the help, looking forward to learning what else this thing can do...

Wing was released this evening, and it supports wifi... :]

T-Mobile is supposedly soon to be rolling out "T-Mobile Hotspot @ Home", or something along those lines; Supposedly it's Wifi connectivity anywhere(?)...

Now my question is... If T-Mobile gets WiFi up before/near Cingular, is it possible that we could also be getting the iPhone? I highly doubt it, considering Apple has an "exclusive contract" with Cingular, but then again, as did Motorola with the Razr.

And speaking of Razrs, has anyone else checked out the Razr2? What are the chances of us getting that one first?

Dose anyone else wish T-Mobile would offer Nextel type phones?
It couldn’t be that hard. The Nextel phones are made by Motorola and already use SIM card technology and I’m sure it’s a simple process of substituting a different part in the phone to allow these phones to use the GSM network rather than iDEN.
T-Mobile seems to have one of the, if not the best customer service. Their price plans are very competitive. And I believe they are the only carrier left who doesn’t charge for forwarded calls!
I know, just switch to Sprint/Nextel.
Tried that and their customer support sucks! For the short time I was with Sprint/Nextel they never once got my bill right and they charge $.20/minute for forwarded calls. So it was a double whammy, pay your...

Just a question... but does anyone out there know what seems to be working out best- the unl M2M or the MyFaves on the FT plans? Are they still offering the M2M-- or you think they are going to pull it back and only offer MyFaves?

So i was reading some posts and them mentioning the Iphone. now i know its a cool phone but doesnt anyone take in mind that you will have to make Itunes purchases that will only work on that I Device? now with the current devices offered through Tmobile with music players, video ect. you can use your own content reffering to legal purchase through CD's or online MP3 stores and not limit them to device specific. and i believe that Itunes are limited to transfering them onto the device as well but i could be wrong. And help!!!! 😢 I decided to go with tmobile because in my area, they are the only ones that you can access the internet and email from your phone cell phone. US Cellular and Unicel said that you still have to have your computer at home hooked up to the internet. Also they said that they can change my home phone number to the cell phone. Well since I am on a really tight budget I know I need to be able to save somehow. I see that there seems to be plenty of good deals online compared to going into the store. any news on t-mobile 3g, and nany release dates

Does anyone know when t-mobile is expected to start serving the Carolinas? I have heard people say that they are going to expand into North Carolina soon, but I only get SunCom when I am in NC. Maybe T-Mobile should just purchase SunCom????
