Scammers!!

I have worked in wireless for a long time now, but I saw something the other day that I could not believe! I work in the mall and I was just chatting to the t-mobile rep, as I was standing there, a customer came up to the booth to see if she could qualify for a phone. the rep gathered her info, and ran her credit. it came back with a $500 deposit, then he said "watch this" he changed a few digits in her ss# until it came back with a $0 deposit. I was disgusted!! I could not believe I saw this guy commit identity theft right in front of me!! and that isn't the only thing, i have heard a lot of stories about this dealer and how really shady they are. I would never buy anything from them.

If I Switch to T-Mo Will I Really Notice Any Difference ...?

I need to upgrade. I've been with AT&T for quite awhile and reasonably satisfied. BUT -
I use the FM radio functionality in my 6230 quite a bit - the Nokia 6126 doesn't have FM - I had an N75 and it didn't work real well - I want to stay with Nokia - and T-Mo has the Nokia 6133(which has FM)

In addition, T-Mo's plan of 1000 min / $39.95 fits me pretty well.

I'm not just "trolling" here ... I'm trying to find a phone I want. If I were to switch from AT&T what differences would I really see? (And I do travel coast-to-coast on occasion).

This must be embarrassing for more than a few in Bellevue!

The Big 5 included UMA launch for years...

Cincinnati Bell launches CB Home Run:
Rodney Dir, Bell's chief operating officer, said CB Home Run is a potentially game-changing technology, extending the reach and quality of wireless networks.

Best basic T-mobile phone

My sister is just about done with her contract with cingular and shes going to be joining T-Mobile soon (they have better service in the LA area where we live.) She wants something cheap, free if possible that will be reliable. She does like to text and picture message quite a bit and if the phone could do video I'm sure she would use it. In your opinions, what would be the best option for her to go with? I was looking at the Nokia 6103, but it has abysmally low memory.

Has anyone heard about what UMA phones might be coming out?

I work for T-Mobile, but I have heard next to nothing about any more UMA phones coming out for T-Mo. Someone in another thread mentioned that the Curve would be UMA enabled, which would be very cool if true. Has anyone heard if the RAZR2 will have UMA. All I know is that it is very frustrating to have absolutely nothing to tell customers about as far as what will allow people to still use a smartphone on the hotspot@home service. Thanks in advance.

The site i go to most frequently came came through with a MIME-type as "application/xhtml+xml" however with the new phone it says "text/vnd.wap.wml" that must be making some kind of difference because i cant get the battery to last more than 12 hours now.

Wing vs Dash

From what I've gathered the wing seems to be no more than a second generation razor when compared to the first generation. Is this true? What are significant diff. between the dash and the wing? Should I just buy the dash or is Tmobile delivering something else soon? Gracias

Check out this computer!! Coming soon to a T-Mobile store near you!!

T-Mobile should be one of the few companies that will be getting 30-inch Microsoft touch screen computers in their stores. This thing is sweet. Not sure if they will be selling it, using it as their POS system, or just have them in the stores for customers to play with. Check out the links. Imagine the possibilities!!!

When will UMPC's come to the 4 Carriers?

As we all know the PDA market and the Smartphone market is on the up rise…Several of the current devices just fall short of being a superphone…UMPC's would be a great addition to the carrier line up for all the hi-tech phone lovers out there…wouldn’t we love to replace our laptops phones mp3 players with a single device…? Why aren’t they available to the mass public now..? any ideas..? are they coming? Lets press the Issue. (trying to talk about something else besides the iPhone)

Wouldn’t you love to use this phone
