Right now it seems T-mo is the only major carrier without GPS service on their network. Do any of you know of a way to use a maps program on a t-mobile device, perhaps a periphreal device?

Also, does anyone know if they have any plans to add that ability to their network? Right now the lack of GPS is the one thing that really sucks about T-mo. Love the service, prices and phones, but miss my GPS.

T-Mobile also might be getting another phone to add to their Sidekick selection. It is apparently called the "Sidekick Slide". From the pictures that have been released the Sidekick Slide looks to look like the same swivel screen and full QWERTY keyboard. This time the keypad is made of hard plastic buttons although the shape is in circles. The color scheme of the phone seems to be in black and purple. It has 1.3 Mega Pixel camera. It looks to be thinner the sidekick 3 all around. It also might have been designed by Motorola because the left side of the phone features a Motorola logo. hi i found this website that says this might be the new sidekick 4. now i don't know if the pics are real or photoshop. but by the looks of it i don't think there fake pics. Well i hope if they do plan to make a sidekick 4 that the improve the memory and the camera megapixials. sorry the typos but if they do plan on making another sidekick i will be switching back to tmobile from sprint. sprint cost to much to get data and text and voice from them. and I've had tmobile before and they have good costumer service.

I've been told that September is the target month for T-Mobile to get the Blackberry Curve. I was told by 3 different TM reps via phone conversations after lengthy discussions regarding my account, service plan, etc.

The Curve is almost definitely my next phone. I currently use a Treo 650 and this BB looks good. I wish it had video capture and touchscreen, but since TM doesnt carry PALM anymore, the BB Curve is the way to go...............

I'm a flex pay customer. My SDA is oowlamf [out of warranty like a mother ****er!] because I bought it from a stupid hole-in-the-wall retailer. It works and all, minus the internet, but I want something that's in warranty. Should I buy a brand new SDA outright for $199, or save up for a Dash?

I just wanted to come on here and say that while a lot of you have had problems with TMS stores, not all stores commit the egregious acts that they are accused of.

Yes, I am an actual employee. I just hate reading my store getting trashed when every store in my market is as clean or cleaner than any COR store.

In my market, if we were to ever add a line without permission, or do half of the things that TMS is accused of, not only would we be fired, but more than likely questioned by the authorities. I know, I have seen it happen.

Now, the company knows who the dirty reps and dirty markets are, and guess what? A lot of heads are rolling. A LOT.

I went to a T-Mobile today to help my girlfriend get a new phone, and when I was there, she really wanted to get the Dash. Right when we were about to purchase the phone, the lady is like, "Oh, and it's required to buy the data plan when you buy the phone because we notice that the return rate is much lower when the customer has it!" So we say f*ck it, I know we dont need to buy that in order to "enjoy" the phone seeing as I have an SDA, and they are the same phone minus the WM6, QWERTY keyboard and wireless G wifi.

So then, I go to another T-Mobile store, and the first question I ask is "do you need the data plan to purchase the phone?", and this gentleman tells me "no". So as we're about to buy it again, and this is my reason for the po...

If you have a Family Plan, and have 2 PDA/Smartphones and want unlimited internet on both of them, do you have to pay the $29.99 for each of them. I'm assuming you do, but I wanna be sure.

I had a blackberry Pearl and it was stolen from me I was thinking about getting the dash but I don't know if the blackberry data plan would work with it or would i have to switch my data plan ?

Just wanted to know if anyone has this service at this time? ARe you benefiting from it or is it not working? I am about to go with the Nokia 6086 phone. I just moved and I have a weak signal in the house where I am at. I am only getting 1 or 2 bars at all times inside. I need more signal to avoid losing a call. I am not getting it for the unlimited WIFI stuff. I do not need that. I need it for the strong signal strength. After talking with them they are sending me the phone for free and picking up the shipping costs. I already have a router which is compatible with the phone so its a great deal. Goes to show you that you never know what you can get until you ask. Thanks!!

My Girlfriend lost her SDA, I know she's been wanting a new phone for a while, and I also know that T-Mobile discontined the SDA. Through Asurion insurance, does anyone know what phone they will replace her lost one with?
