New Phones???

Perhaps with all the iPhone hype TMO has been on the DL. However I want to know when new phones are coming out. Is TMO getting the new 8820 from Blackberry? Does anyone have dates? I love my pearl, but I am getting itchy for a new device.

New T-Mobile user.

As a Flex Pay user, and a person that's finally off of that dreaded pre-paid crap, I must ask an important question: does T-Mobile cap their data usage like Verizon does [under %GB, or ETF]?

SDA

Aight... I'm posting this here cause the SDA forum doesn't seem to get any hits anymore.

I'm using T-Zones for my internet connection with the SDA. Works great (other than the speed but that's not a problem since I rarely use zones as my data connection). Problem is, when I use Google Maps or MSN's Live Search, the maps don't get a data connection. When I'm connected via wi-fi, no problem. It's only a problem when I'm NOT connected via wi-fi.

Anyone know how that can be fixed or if it's even possible?

Need help from a T-Mobile customer

Hi All,
I have a BB Pearl that is locked to T-Mobile, but I live in Toronto, Canada, so obviously can't use TMO.
I know that TMO provides unlocking codes free of charge if you are a customer in good standing, so I was hoping that a current TMO customer could call and give their account # along with my IMEI # and email address to get an unlocking code. I've spoken to TMO to verify this is do-able and would not cost you anything more than the 5 minutes or so on the phone and I would be willing to PayPal someone $10 for a beverage of their choice for their help.
Anybody willing to help me out on this?

Thanks in Advance,
-Michael.

Is T-Mobile competative with Verizon on Coverage and data?

I have been searching for a light QWERTY smartphone with MS exchange capabilities and the HTC Dash looks awesome. I have been to the T-mobile store and played with it. It is easily the best compromise of light and full-function around. Totally pocket-able and very nice in the hand.......

BUT, I can't seem to get comfortable switching from Verizon (Perfect coverage and service...boring phones later than everyone else) to T-Mobile.

What I hear is: spotty coverage and slow data (also best pricing)

Can anyone offer me an opinion? Thanks.

Say bye bye to deposits

Once FlexPay comes out in the next few days no more deposits.

Customers can either get regular post paid, prepaid, or flexpay (replacing smart access).

With flexpay:
No deposit
Pick from any regular plan or features
Pay your monthly service in advance
Same contract pricing on phones with 2 year contract

Simply put, if your credit sucks you can get post paid like service...you just have to pay each month in advance and not go over your minutes.

Where the heck is 3g??

I know that a lot of you here on the forums have the same question, and although I know that many people have asked this question before in previous threads, I just want to know, what's with the hold up.

Didn't T-Mobile win all that specturm from the FCC bidding? I'm just frustrated because have been using my SDA since the first day it came out, and have seriously been tempted to either upgrade to the Dash or the Wing, but I just couldn't bring myself to it seeing that I know that as soon as I upgraded, 3g will be right around the corner.

Any reps who are REALLY in the know have any insight? It would be great, thanks in advance.

MDA or WIng.

To me, the only differences are the camera, color of phones and WM6. Should I get a cheap MDA, or bite the bullet and get a Wing.

Can we get some new phones PLEASE!!!

I am so sick of the phone selection that us tmobile customers are stuck with. I have had the service for a year and still haven't seen anything better than what i have on the phone side. I got the dash so even though its been updated threw the gills, I don't see anything at this point that is making me exicted about keeping tmobile once my contract expires. Since I have had tmobile and got the Dash, only one other PDA, the wing (aka MDA Light, AKA the WANG) has came out and outside of the software upgrade, there is nothing special to this phone either. were as on the Att side 9 PDA's have came out in the same time frame, And don't let me talk about real phones, Att is getting like 3 a week and tmobile still has the same poopoo. Look I love ...

okay, what to do w/ a phone you don't want?

I have a problem. I've got 2 phones. Yeah, 2 phones. A razr, which I'm happy with, and a Samsung Stripe, which I got with the switch to T-Mobile. For free. I hate the Stripe, and I don't know what to do with it. Can I sell it back to T-Mobile for some money? Is it a good idea to sell a used, semi-scratched Stripe on eBay or something?(I used the Stripe for like a week before realized I didn't like it.) Any ideas..?

Take Over my Contract - 7 Months left - Great Voice Plan!

I'm looking for someone who will take over the remainder of my T-Mobile contract. It ends on 2/21/2008, about 7 months left.

For those who are not familiar with how this works, it goes entirely through T-Mobile where they remove me from the contract and make you the contract owner. It's a clean transfer.

This is a great way to get an excellent plan, which is no longer offered to new customers as well as having a short contract period instead of the typical two year length.

Amp'd Customers

Now that Amp'd went under, and T-mobile with there flexpay on launch for July 25th, It seems like a good fit for amp'd customers who will be kicked off there network. Obviously we wouldnt want the ones who dont pay, but with the Flexpay- pay in advance system they have worked out, it looks good for the T-mobile reps to get on top of the Amp'd customers and bring them over.
