for customer service reps....

I am a tmtg rep and customers that tick me off the most is the NYC customers/dealers... first off is the customers : they are sooo rude and want everything "now, now, hurry up.. do it now.. err, they are so annoying. What i do sometimes is or what sometime what you have to so do, is speak at their pace for them to understand you. You all need Jesus and need to look up that word patience. But its all gravy 😁

Then there is the notorious dealers: im not sure about post paid(tell if they do this please or anything simular to this) they pre-activate the sim cards so when the customer gets the phones the customer cant ever verify the account then we have to send them to a direct tmobile dealer with picture id so that the direct dealer has to ...

Calling in a favor & a question

This is directed to any t-mobile reps/sales/cs/cc.

I am in desperate need of a t-mobile loaner phone. Someone very close to me lost their phone and it is imperative that they have a phone. In about 2-3 months they can re-up but for now I need to get them into something. (anything that is capable, doesn't need to be anything fancy)

I'm in the long island, ny area and if any of you have anything please let me know.

Now my question, how does t-mobile deal with ESN changes (i guess it would be a sim/imei change but im a verizon guy)? The original phone is lost so im guessing it would need to be phoned in somehow and the sim would have to be activate to that line?

thanks for whatever help you guys can give me

PRADA LG phone in the US

I think T-mobile will get it first in the US? Unless they do come out with a CDMA verson for the US Market which could happen.

A CDMA/GSM Dual-mode Phone

The U.S. needs one more merger between wireless carriers. There have been quite a few. One merger created Cingular Wireless, which was once owned by SBC (60%) and BellSouth (40%). Another merger was between Bell Atlantic Mobile, Vodafone/Airtouch Cellular, GTE Wireless and PrimeCo. This merger created the then number one carrier---Verizon Wireless. Later Cingular (which at the time was the number two wireless carrier) purchased AT&T Wireless (which was the number three carrier). The combined entity usurped the 'nations largest wireless carrier' tag from Verizon Wireless. Some Verizon fans cried foul, perhaps forgetting that their company itself was a merger baby. In any case, the FCC allowed the merger to take place with some divestiture of ...

Treo 680 as Modem for T-mobile??

I've followed the direction in the following URL to tethering my Treo 680 and can not get it to work! It connects via Bluetooth, but fails at the log-in point. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Navigator

Question for you T-mobile peeps:

I just had a customer come into the big red asking about our VZ Nav feature. He was told at by a T-mobile rep that T-mobile offered the service also. Is this true? Is it new? I assume that the rep was reffering to some sort of web app, such as, Mapquest mobile or even a plug in adapter. I used to work for Cingular, who is far more cutting edge than T-mobile, and they did not have the feature either.

Please let me know if I missed something,
Thanks

TMob vs Cingular in NYC tri-state?

Because I frequently travel to Europe I'm bolting VZW in favor of one of the two GSM carriers.

Phones are Blackjack vs Dash and I consider them to be more or less equal. I mean one has WiFi but the other has HSDPA, one has bigger screen but the other has side scroll wheel, etc.

What I'm concerned is about networks and general coverage and quality. Cingy seems to have an edge on 3G data (which I would prefer to have) and overall coverage (correct me if I'm wrong) but compared to TMob sucks in customer service (according to Consumer Reports).

I'll appreciate your thoughts on this and help. Thanks!

Faceplates for the RAZR

For faceplates like such:

http://www.elitextreme.com/morav3hoblfa.html »

Will it cover the whole phone, or what? There might have to be some research involved I guess...by the looks of it it only looks like it covers the front and the battery cover... and I don't really want a multi colored RAZR! 🤣 ThankS!

Motorola phones / PEBL

Does anyone know if there is a way to delete the videos and photos that came on the PEBL? Or any Moto phone for that matter...

I posted this in the PEBL forum also but that one is rarely checked.

Any help would be appreciated!

Ringtones

Hey, on T-zones, are the ringtones usually the first 30 seconds or whatever of the song? Or do they just take a random snippet of the song? Thanks ;)
