Krzr sounds Krazy!!!

I hear the Krzr was coming to T- mobile. I really doubt it. The CDMA Krzrhas different features plus it has a lower grade cam (1.3 megapixel) the gsm has a 2 megapixel camera. I dont think we gonna a 2 megapixel, and not one from motorola first.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Okay, to start off, I'm rather ignorant about most things regarding cell phones.

I'm looking to purchase a new phone, as I've been a Virgin Mobile customer for a few years and I've had the same phone (https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php? p =161). So I'd like a new one.

I'm currently looking to switch to T-Mobile's prepaid service, since I don't use my phone enough to sign up for a two year contract. However, their prepaid phone selection is quite unappealing. Now, what I'm wondering is if it'd be feasible to purchase an unlocked Samsung SGH-E350 and a blank/new T-Mobile SIM card and use it with their prepaid service.

If anyone could provide me with any answers, or suggest a better course of action, I would be thankful.

Sidekick III and MySpace

A lot of people haven't been able to sign onto myspace with their sidekicks for a few weeks. Does this have anything to do with the Cingular-MySpace Mobile contract that was recently signed? Any input would be appreciated... thanks!

Been out of contract for a year

Hey everyone,
I've been using a Motorola V300 for the past two years, and I've been out of contract for the past year. I think it's time for an upgrade, but none of the "Free with contract" phones really tickle my fancy. The T629 is $100 with 2-yr contract, but existing customers have to open up a new line of service to get this discount.

Is there any way I can get a good deal on a phone, by entering into another contract to upgrade? I read something about calling customer service and complaining about how new customers get better deals with other providers, and threatening to take my business elsewhere (I guess they give you a better deal or reduced price phone if you do this), but I don't want to do this in case it backfires and they c...

T-Mobile's version of the Nokia 6030 (it is the 6030b)

I bought this phone at Target for 43 dollars after tax and I am very pleased with this version of the 6030. (I used to have the Cingular version, which is not bad, but T-Mobile's version is so much better.)

To those of you who need a nice reliable phone that is not a flip phone I say go with the Nokia 6030. I love this phone. The screen quality is so good and I like how there is so much memory available for downloads. My only challenge is the buttons are at first a little hard to push, but I am getting used to it. Very good phone! (And T-Mobile is winning me over again with this phone because thier network in the big city has excellent quality.)

SK3 and the Deaf

Just curious... My daughter is deaf and uses the SK2 (hoping to upgrade to the SK3) for communicating. She has a $29/mo data-only plan. Does she qualify for a discount having a disability? Also, what's the going rate on the new SK3 w/o contract?

Treo, Blackberry Plan & ActiveSync?

I'm currently using the Total Internet with HotSpot data plan ($29.99) with my Treo 680. I've heard I can use the Blackberry Unlimited plan ($19.99) - since I do not want HotSpot. Is this true? Will it work with ActiveSync? (I assume so since ActiveSync is using port 443.)

No More Porn

On November 12, T-Mobile will launch Content Control, an add-on feature that filters GPRS and EDGE Internet access on our network to adult-themed (over eighteen) WAP and HTML Web sites on a handset.

Content Control is based on an initiative led by the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) and restricts unauthorized access to adult-themed material by minors on their phone/device, without the consent of the primary account holder. This functionality is required to meet CTIA standards for limiting access by underage customers to objectionable content.
