Bad T-Mobile Antennaes in NY

I work in Manhattan, and three weeks ago a nearby antenna went down. The result was that I could not use my phone in my office. At first I was told that it would be repaired in a day, the next day I was told that engineers were working on the problem but that they had no estimated repair time. It took a week for the antenna to be repaired. It worked for one week, and now it is down again, and this time has been down for a week with no end in sight.

Does anyone know if this is typical for T-Mobile? They have credited me a month, nice but of course it does not resolve the problem. Most people are telling me to switch to Verizon.

Customer for 5 years - T mobile cancelled the service

Hi everbody,

This is what happened yesterday at one of my stores. A customer came to the store and complained that his phone is disconnected. We called the customer care and they informed us that this customer has a single plan 39.99 600 NW, and pays 6.99 for mobile to mobile. they say that this customer uses around 10000 free mobile to mobile mins a month . So t mobile does not want to keep this customer with them as their network gets overloaded as result of customers like this.

Naturally the customer was pissed as he said he pays for free unlimited mobile to mobile to the company every month. They told us we just dont want this customer .

My point is when t mobile sells a feature as unlimited , where is the customers ...

GET OUT OF YOUR CINGULAR CONTRACT WITH NO TERMINATION

good news for cingular customers, if they want to getout of their contracts without paying ETF

In the most recent cingular bill there is a notice that SMS rates are going up to .15 a message.
Like allot of you have heard, the best way to get out is when the carrier's raise their rates like in this case.

Page 6(page 8 of the pdf) of the terms and conditions of having Cingular service state the following,

"IF WE INCREASE THE PRICE OF ANY OF THE SERVICES TO WHICH YOU SUBSCRIBE, BEYOND THE LIMITS SET FORTH IN YOUR RATE PLAN BROCHURE, OR IF WE MATERIALLY DECREASE THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA IN WHICH YOUR AIRTIME RATE APPLIES (OTHER THAN A TEMPORARY DECREASE FOR REPAIRS OR MAINTENANCE), WE WILL DISCLOSE THE CHANGE AT LEAST ONE BILLING CY...

2yo T-MO customer wants a Pearl - Best Deal?

I've been a T-mobile customer for 2 years now...my first and only phone was the Moto A630 (which they dont even make anymore) which I still have and use.

I really want the BB Pearl but the in-store rep says the best deal I can get is to pay $200 for the phone PLUS sign up for another 2 year contract.

Being that I am now a month to month customer in good standing can I haggle to get a better deal out of them either on the price of the phone or paying the $200 but not signing a contract and staying as a month to month?

The in-store rep was not having any dealing, can I deal on the phone with a customer rep?

Any advice?!?

Sony Ericsson Z600...

Was this phone ever on T-Mobile?

If so, could I just unlock it, pop a T-Mobile SIM card in, and go on Prepaid or whatever?

Thanks.

T-Mobile worst in Cust Service

I cant believe how I was treated with T-mo yesterday. They now have the worst cust service reps and Mgrs of all wireless providers. I received my bill last month and had a massive overage charge for my one line of almost 300.00 dollars, this was my fault not T-Mo's, I paid the bill and called T-mo and increased my plan to 5000 Min from 2500. This month I received my bill and had another massive overage charge this time my bill was 500.00, I called T-mo thinking this was there mistake and they would take care of the overage, NO THEY PRETTY MUCH CALLED ME A LIAR, they claimed to have no record of my calling last month and changing my plan and therefore they could do nothing for me!! I spoke to a Mgr who told me the same thing!! He said that...

Been With Tmobile 3 years. How do I get a quality, free phone?

I do not want to give up my plan. Am currently going month to month.
I call Tmobile and get these so called great deals for being a loyal customer.
I want more! I want a choice of a phone I can get for free by just signing up for another 2 years.
I am paying over $500 every year and deserve a free phone just like the new subscribers.
How do I / we do this?
Will even settle for a Moto 195.
thanks

Buying T-Mo at Costco

This is something for all you guys living in different markets to research. I found out that at Costco, you can get a Samsung t809 for $190, with a $100 rebate, and no activation fee, and the most interesting part is their return policy. If you bash the phone against a wall, drop it in water, or do anything to destroy the phone, you can just bring it by any costco and get a store credit for another phone! Basically you'll get a brand new one, on the spot, for free instead of getting a refurbished one shipped to you and getting screwed for $10.

The only problem with Costco is that they ONLY activate 2 year contracts, and they only sell 4 or 5 different phones. But that return policy beats Asurion. I don't know about you guys but I've ...

T-Mobile To go

You know, I really like my T-Mobile To Go service. It is easy to manage and my minutes go a lot lot further without being charged daily access fees. And the Gold Rewards incentives are pleasant as well. I hope T-Mobile continues to improve their prepaid service because I really enjoy it.

T-Mobile To-Go gets a blue ribbon from me. 🙂

T-Mobile How Dare You !

How dare you send me a gift of a free Samsung t209 cell phone because I have been a loyal customer for almost 3 years! If I sign up for 2 years?
What kind of piece of crap gift / trade off is that?

Look at the ratings and reviews that phone gets! It is GARBAGE.

Why don't you impress me and at least offer a Motorola PEBL? You have no problem giving it to new customers on your website!
I have used the same phone since day one and I deserve a little better gift than a Samsung t209. If I am going to sign up for another 2 years then I am a new customer!
I know you want new customers but don't forget the ones who are currently supplementing your paychecks!

in-store phone exchange question

I just bought the T629, but want to return it for the T519. I'm not happy wit the execution of the T629. This would fall within the 14 day timeframe. Well, wouldn't you know it, dropped it last night and it now has a couple of scratches. Is this can affect my ability to exchange the phone. I called 611 and they said that the phone had to be in the same condition in which they sold it to me. Do I stand a chance?
