If I switch to a family plan with the rents before my contract is up, is there an ETF?

My cotnract reaches the 11-month upgrade point on November 30. My Dad is thinking of switching to T-Mo for his business use and we would just all go on a family plan. If we did this while I am home for Thanksgiving (and thus before my contract is up) would I incur an ETF?

It appears you don't have to use the proxy anymore for web access.

Anyone else noticed this? Now Google Maps for Mobile works because of this, and I took out all proxy information out of my phone and applications all work. Ones that didn't work before because they had to go through the proxy now do work.

Job with T-Mobile

I'm being considered for a job with T-Mobile and have been offered a job with Verizon. I wanted to compare pay. Can anyone who works for T-Mobile retail sales tell me how much I can expect to earn such as base and commission. If you have your opinions on whether which company to work for I would appreciate it. Thanks.

My Faves on non-My Faves handset question.

I thought I saw a post here or somewhere that you can still use the My Faves pricing on non-My Faves handsets...you just won't have the interface on your handset. You would still get the 5 numbers, but they wouldn't show up op on the screen like on a My Faves handset.

True? Misinformed? Wrong?

May Have To Jump Ship. Can You Stop Me ?

OK here is the situation. I have been with Tmobile for almost 3 years. Not too many complaints. It does not work too well when going across country though.
I am going month to month with the 600 minute, 3 day weekend plan with 300 txt msg for $2.99. This costs $39.99 a month.
Problem is I am using no more than 300-400 a month since now.

Would like the Cingular rollover minute plan. But is the loss of 150 minutes a month worth it? Also 200 txt msg are $4.99. But gaining free mobile to mobile with Cingular and free calls after 9 M-F + free weekends.
As with Tmobile, Cingular works fine where I am at in north San Diego.

So there it is. Do I stay with 3 day weekends or go to rollover?

If you are on the side of Tmobile my next and las...

the worst customers to come into your store

Whats the worst customer you have ever experienced in you store? How often have you had to take a payment and the customer takes the money out of her bra. Or even better had a customer sneeze and sneeze all over you. If you have any stories like this please let me know

My 6101 has physical damage and my contract is still valid...do I have any upgrade options?

My contract comes to its 11th month on Nov 30, and the case on the flip part is broken so it comes unhinged often. Since this is "physical damage" they obviously won't exchange so do I have any options for getting an early upgrade or something of that nature?

hey guys, I am thinking of buying a sidekick 3, can anyone give me a pro and con? should get it?

hey guys, I am thinking of geting a sidekick 3. I am currently a cingular customer and not really happy with my Treo 650. I understand sidekick is more for "social life" connecting, compare to other smartphones. but since I've never been w/ T-mobile, I'm worry to jump ship. I've heard the T-mobile has bad signal, bad receiption, and sidekick 3 only looks cute and not a good phone. anyone can give me any insight and advise would be appreciated! thanks dudes and gals!

p.s. how about Nokia E61?

Help! Looking for a phone that sync with Outlook.

Please help. Can anyone tell me if T Mobile offer any phone that will sync up my Outlook calendar and contacts? If not, are there any other phones out there that isn't T-Mobile, i.e. unlocked phones that will work. I did some research and it looks like the Sony Ericcson may have a few models. Can anyone with one of these phone on T-mobile network tell me how well they work? 😁

UMA rollout

I sell cingular and have had customers asking about your UMA service. I know that they originally started selling it in the seattle market. When does t-mo plan on releasing it in other markets? Is it still only the samsung phone that is supported? Thanks

Nokia 6133 Great Phone!!

I have to say I am not usually one who posts about phones but I need to inform all of you who are looking for a phone that this phone kicks butt! I have been a Samsung phone owner for years but they are rally boring lately. This phone has everything you could ever want and at a fraction of the cost. For 1 year extendsion $199 with a $50 mail in rebate for a final cost of $149 or a 2 year extension is $149 with a $50 mail in rebate for a final cost of $99. Now granted, I bought the phone outright and paid more than someone who would want to extend their contract but I am tired of T-Mobile or any carrier for that matter having me "under a contract" I finally have the plan I want which is more minutes than I could ever imagine for the right pric...

New Motorola Phones

Does anybody know if there is going to be any new motorola phones soon. I think the razr is too fragile and the v195 is too plain. I had the v360 and loved it and there is a motorola that is similar. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

Can you leave shortly before contract expires?

Has anyone here switched to another carrier from T-Mobile shortly (couple weeks) before their contract expired? Cingular insists T-mobile won't care since it's so close to the end of the contract but I don't know...... Anyone?

I'm not thrilled about cingular but I moved and get NO reception at home at ALL... yet my Cingular reception on work phone is full bars.
