Guys Finally T Mobile is launching the Gold D&G Version of The razr V3 . And it will be exclusive to T-mobile. I had a chance to use one recently n trust me it looks great inside n outside.

I Dont know the launch date but ill post it as soon as i get it .

i had(still using it, under contract) cingular for years and i always thought they had the best service, i knew their plans were rediculous w/ prices, cingular served me well but after what my friends told me(and how i can be in the same room and they have service and i dont) about how well t-mobile's coverage is, well i wont say coverage, lets say a reliable signal,

cingular's coverage has been eratic in my area(detroit) and just plain annoying at times, im not a cingular basher or a fanboy, i have no reason to be, no one is exempt from critisism(spelling's not good right now)

and its time for me to try something new, and the my faves features basically did it for me. plus unlimited txt(that might go away soon).

Will T-Mobile ever get these phones? or do they have and exclusive deal with Cingular?

My 6102 has a chip in the case so they wont exchange it for another and Im tired of dealing with it, just waiting for the 6133 to arrive. 🙂

This is going to sound like a dumb question. But I currently use a 7130c with cingular right now and I am considering getting a Pearl when Cingular releases it.

One thing that I have hated about all of the Blackberrys I have used is the lack of a "vibrate and ring" opition in profiles. It only has "vibrate THEN ring" Does the pearl have a vibrate and ring option?

I believe that post-paid subscriber growth may have modestly improved at T-Mobile during Q3. I would expect net adds to be up on a sequential basis from the 613K the company reported in Q2. As a reminder, Q2 results were somewhat weak as a result of the introduction of two-year contracts in the beginning of Q2 (April 2006). Roughly, 70% of the T-Mobile store reps I spoke indicated store traffic was better than expectations. This compares favorable to the average of about 30% in the past eight surveys. Hi Everybody,

Tmobile is discontinuing the sales rewards program through gc.com effective Nov 1st. So no more limited choice of websites anymore.

The good news is that T mobile will issue Visa Check cards to its sales reps both direct and indirect channel . The dollar value of the gift certificates will be put in the Debit card through tmobile website for rewards. So the sales reps can spend the money anywhere for anything . However it cant be used to withdraw cash but its a great program for all those sales employees and store operators.

That is cause t moblie is teeny compared to cingular and verizon, and even though it is bigger than my alltel, it is way crappier!!

I'm confused.

My error:

I entered my sim pin 3 times in error.

I received a "Sim Blocked" message with an option to "unblock."

When

I press unblock and it asks for "PIN1 Unblock Code:"

I assume it is asking for the PUK code which i entered after calling T-Mobile. It did not work. Tmobile advised to either try "000000" or call MOTOROLA directly.

My thoughts is that i have an older SIM card that may not be allowing me to unlock it with the PUK code.

I don't think the issue is the L7, since i used a tmobile offered nokia with my sim, and it requested the PUK code directly. I also put my friends T-Mobile sim, and it worked right up with my SLVR L7.

Any ideas, cause i'm stumped.

I was trying to do a PCC for the virgin islands and all I got was water. I used a few different zip codes for the area and I only got water for all of them. I tried the international roaming map but the Virgin Islands are not on there.

Anybody have any idea how to get a coverage map of the Virgin Islands????

T-Mobile had this back to school deal which had 2 lines, 1000 minutes, no free nights and weekends for 49.99 a month. I guess the promotion is now over, but any idea if it'll be back on, maybe for the holidays? That would be the ideal plan for me.

has anyone noticed that the quality of the customer service with tmobile is not as great as it used to be? I know that every carrier has a few reps that make it look bad for the rest of them,, but I notice that with tmobile, i am more frequently experiencing poor quality service,, more so than it used to be.

The sk isn't as bad as most people say i love having the internet with me at all times eventhough its still a bit limited, being able to sign on to aim, and msn are aslo bit pluses. What turned me off to it was that you can't really customize it at all and the battery life is horrible. Now my question is i just upgraded my phone and renewed my contract if i send it back can i still get a different phone at a discounted price? and which other phone should i try out i do a lot more texting than i do talking i just want something that's comfortable while texting and has pretty good battery life.

Well it is the moment everyone has been waiting for and here are the details: (right from the press release) It looks like I was correct with the timeframe of the roll out and the completed roll out.

"NEW YORK (AP) -- T-Mobile USA laid out the plan Friday for the $4.2 billion in wireless spectrum it won in a recent federal auction, saying it expects to spend nearly $2.7 billion on a network upgrade that can deliver mobile multimedia capabilities it hasn't been able to offer like its rivals.

The rollout of the next generation network is scheduled to start during the current quarter and be completed in 2009, with "most of the work" completed by 2008, T-Mobile and corporate parent Deutsche Telekom AG of Germany said in a statement.

Have had T-Mobile for years, from when they were voicestream. I have only considered changing recently. Now that Cell phones are so prevalent it's easy to compare service. I LOVE T-mobile true nation wide service, NEVER once have I paid a cent more on my bill when calling while in Florida or Hawaii and I live in Oregon....BUT, I can go into a local "box" store and can not get one bar yet people around me are chatting away as they are strolling the isles. I was at the area hospital and couldn't get one bit of service unless I was right by a window while my sister in law was in the internal lobby having a conversation and she is from the other side of Oregon. Q...do I just have a crappy phone or does T-Mobile just not that great for signal str...

I saw some talk about it being released the first week of October or so but then haven't heard anything since. Also, my contract expires on December 30, so do I have any options to get upgrade pricing prior to the 11 months (Nov 30)?
