I currently have the 6800 but was considering taking it back and getting the razr2, the reasons I would like the razr is because of size. But i would miss the fact that it is so easy to text on the 6800. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I have lost my battery and other such icons on my Today Screen on my PPC6800. I just got it yesterday and was playing with it and lost them! I want them back and can't find it in the manual.

I need a little bit of help with the PPC6700 Bluetooth button. We put Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 on it. However the Starcom has that weak voice dialing program stock. We were able to program on of the buttons on the phone to work with the voice dial program from MS. When we push the Bluetooth button it triggers both programs. My question is, how do I control what happens when I push the bluetooth button?

Ok so I am thinking of getting my first Smartphone. What is the best? I think I have it narrowed down to either the Blackberry 8830 or the PPC6800. Any suggestions? I haven't heard much about the Treo's. Should I consider one of those? Along with all the perks I still need a phone with great reception. I need your help!!!

So long as there aren't any delays, you will see the Razr 2 coming to Alltel on Thursday this week. Sweet phone and a great addition to Alltel's newer phones.

i am sorry if i ask some dumb questions but i am new to the forum and i am not real familiar with the wireless industry. my contract has been up for over a year and a half and i am really considering my first smart phone (ppc 6800). i was wondering how it works if a person goes through letstalk.com since the phone is so cheap there? does it work out just the same as going into my local alltel store? will it affect my great relationship with my local alltel store? will it affect my wifes add on account since she is my second line but her contract isn't up for another year? i have been with alltel since 1998 and my local store has taken very good care of me but $150.00 savings is a lot! any information provided will be greatly appreciated and ...

I was just wondering if anyone has heard the release date for WM 6.0 for the 6800?

I ask this in this forum because Alltel is a direct competitor of this combined company, if approved by the regulatory bodies. I wanted to see what people think about it.

The lead is like this; 1. ATT; 66 million. 2. VZW; 65 million. 3. Sprint; 53 million. 4. T-mobile 28 million. 5. Alltel; 12 million. 6. Metro/Leap; 7 million and 7. US Cellular; 6 million.

I think that Alltel would be passed by Metro/Leap within a few years.

We are going to re-sign with Alltel and then get new phones. There is much debate about which one is best. I am currently looking at the LG AX8600 versus the new Razor 2. I just got back to Charlottesville this afternoon from the DC area.
