Motorola V400

Two games came with the V400, Bejeweled and PrinceofPersia. I assume these were free with the phone, but is there an internet charge for playing them?

☹️ I have my phone email msg set up the way you guys have it here, It doesnt work. It keeps telling me connecting to server then it says connection unsusscessful please try again later 😕 . but it never works. Im trying to send an email with a picture and it does that, and if I try to send a multimedia message it tells me the same. can anyone help me please?

Has anyone tried purchasing one of these car holders that clip onto the vent in your car? I have the V400 and I would like to just be able to toss my phone in it while I drive, but I want to make sure it won't slide out!

I found one like this on Ebay and was just curious if anyone has tried it yet?

When I plug the car charger into my V400, I can't make calls. It tells me "call failed".

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I'm using a Belkin brand charger (the model made for the V60, T720, etc.) and it works as a charger and powers the phone fine.

I don't have a Motorola brand charger to try. Could it be that the Belkin isn't compatible?

Can someone tell me how to create polyphonic ringtones? I have made my own MP3 ringtones and uploaded them to my phone. But they arent as loud as the polyphonic tones. What file format are the polyphonic tones saved in? And can I convert MP3's to polyphonic tones?

I was just wondering if there was a way to save the pictures to the SIM card rather than to the phone. Are there any advantages? Disadvantages?

Just watched the Mobile Tools demo at Motorola's site (as I don't have a cable yet) and didn't see any provisions for uploading/downloading images - primarily I'm interested in downloading images taken from the phone to my PC (or Mac).

Any help appreciated!

I've had the phone for a week and my Bejeweled is dead. The error says:

Failed starting Bejeweled...

I work for at t wireless never have i had a phone that i've had problems on how to use..lol, anyway with my 616 i could send my pics to my hotmail in a second, but this one for some reason it asks for a email setup......, i dont know how and wat to put in it, and is that all i need to send pics?...i do have the wireless internet and mms messaging on my cingular account.

everything about the V400 seems great except that the earpiece volume is just too low. I have to keep it on 7 (max) always, and many times that is not enough. I called someone that I could barely hear on my V400 then switched my SIM card back to my old Nokia 6340i, called them back, and the volume was 100% better. Anyone else have these probs? Hopefully its not just my hearing going bad!

Is this a true replacement to the faceplate or does it just clip on top of the existing one?

Just got a V400.. a few questions about accessories:

1) Are the data cables from ebay generally decent? I'd certainly rather spend $2 than $60...

2) Where can I find a good case? The ones I've seen in stores don't let the phone close all the way.. I'd like a wraparound case to protect it but one that is actually made for this phone (or exactly-shaped models)

3) I'm looking for the best solution to use this thing hands-free in the car.. from what I understand, I must have a mic plugged in in order to have the phone auto-answer or enable auto-speakerphone on open. But how can I mount the thing in the car?

finally figured out how to put mp3 ringtones on my v400 (thanks FETNU) and they sound awesome, can also put pictures on the phone and set them as wallpaper

I bought a cheap USB data cable off of ebay and I'm trying to sync my data with it using a Mac running 10.3.2 and iSync 1.4 but I'm not having any luck.

I'm wondering if indeed it's just not compatible or it's the fault of a questionable USB cable? Apple's site doesn't specifically list the phone but it's so new that it just may have not been updated yet. I would be willing to buy the OEM cable if I knew it would work but I'm not sure which it is. The iSync incompatibility or the cable itself.
