Video Quality?

How's the quality of video on the vx-7000 in terms of sound and clarity?
I tried the samsung sch-a670 video and its quality was really bad (sound and blurriness)

Also, how do you think video on it will compare to the v710? Thanks a lot.

Pricing - FYI

Just picked mine up.

I signed up for the 2 year contract so it was $249.99.

I had $100 credit for renewing my 2 year deal so I paid $150.00 for it. Came to $158.56 with tax. Plus I get a $70 mail in rebate. So I will have paid $88.56 for the phone. Pretty sweet deal.

Multi-Color LED?

I noticed on one of the user reviews someone mentioned a multi-color LED for incoming calls.

Is this one of those LEDs like are in those flashing antennas?

What colors is it? Can it be turned off?

Why no speakerphone?

The VX4500 has a speakerphone. Why not this one? Its an essential feature that is causeing me to lean towards the V710...

deleting a ringer

Has anyone figured out how to delete a ringer -or a sound that you record, for that matter?

I have been through the manual and can't seem to figure it out by available options on the phone.

Thanks

Roaming...

Since i'm new to VZW, I was wondering about roaming. I know there are 2 levels of roaming (according to my In-network brochure), and for one of them you dont get charged extra fees. What does this show up as on the 7000's display?

Very Good LG phone with one BIG Mistake

I'm tired of Moto guys saying that the phone feels cheap. If you like the 4400 - 4600 / 6000 you will like this phone a lot.

Best display of any phone VZW carries. Those who say they can't read it need glasses. The letters, numbers and pictures are CRISP. Flash makes a big difference to the photos. Cool front screen. The new menu system is fine. Different and probably not as good as the standard LG's have been, but since this is what all new VZW phones will have - get used to it.

Now to the one REALLY BIG (and stupid) problem... the holster has a small area that you press to release the phone. It is directly on top of the rotating camera. EVERY TIME you release the phone from the holster you are pressing or rotating the lens...

Braveyoyo

Ecko04 on why he ha chosen the LG VX7000 ove the Motorola V710:

"The LG is much more user friendly so i'll stick with LG and Samsung, no need to go back to Moto because they've made it obvious that they spend their time in the GSM realm."

I think he sums it up pretty well and I agree with him.

love it so far

getting used to it and am loving it and can see why ecko n aldcon n others choose this over that POS MOTO 710.The screen is so cool!!! BTW, pricing is a funny thing w some places at 349 n others at 399. I paid 299 w a 70 rebate for 1 year. Figuring in 10 months Ill upgrade to a 8000 or whatever.

Holster - Kitty or anyone else?

Kitty,

My holster does NOT look like this. I found it as a link as the standard holser. Does yours?
