I have seen the phone and played with it. It might be nice using it but why not wait for a phone with a megapixel camera? Plus the outside is just plain hideous. The thing is blue-ish almost Barney purple.

The V710 on the other hand is sweet. I have seen it and is definitely worth waiting for.

And yes I do work for the company...

Greetings, this is my first post, I've been reading the messages for the last month and have found them to be extremely helpful, thank you to everyone. 😁 Just an FYI....My buddy just called and he bought a lg 7000 this morning at the VZW store in Madison, WI.

I work for a Verizon store in Ohio and I just got an email from our account liaison and they said that the VX7000 is launching today.

I called my local Verizon store this morning to see if they have the VX7000 and the woman told me that they have plenty in stock and have had them since Tuesday. However, she said that Verizon sent a company-wide memo advising all the retailers to delay the launch until July 1st. She said that the reason is because the Video Messaging service is still being tweaked and they don't want to release the phone until it's ready.

I work for verizon wireless and i got an email stating that the premiere of the phone is not until July 1st. the original date was the 25th of june. I will let all you guys know as soon as the product is ready for sell also and introductory price.

what are all you guys going to do once you have this phone? I feel like its all youi guys look forward to, and are quite obbsessed with it, i find it quite unhealthy but thats besides the point....what will be your next obsession?

if someone could tell me when halo 2 is coming out. now there is a messed up release date. its better than fighting over a phone. at least you can shoot your buddy when it comes out and you play against him. what are u gonna do with your 7000??? take a picture or video?? 😁

I know that the 7000 can send videos. I was told that it cannot receive videos from other phones. Is that true? If so, what's the point?

in talking directly to the people at verizon, the new lg 7000 phone will be available on june 25, 2004. call them directly. they have useful info on this and other phones.

Well since we have 2 different release dates for this phone, I say we have a little fun and lets take tallies on what people think. I will tally everyones votes by Midnight tonight (EST) and we will see who is right because obviously we will know by tomorrow who is right or wrong. So lets all stop arguing back and forth and posting the same posts every 2 seconds about whos source is right or not and lets just smile and all be friends.

My vote is for tomorrow... 🤣

That swoosh sound you hear is the LG 7000 launching tomorrow in my neck of the woods - northeast Ohio.

I just (8 PM EST) spoke with a customer service rep who told me that it IS launching tomorrow at her store, and surrounding stores.

It's first come, first serve, so I guess I'll put on my chest protector, catcher's mask and that oh-so-important cup and fight my way through the crowd...ok...perhaps that's a little dramatic..

Hope she wasn't pulling my leg!

With all the different release dates going around. Did you think that their maybe 2 release dates? Some stores will be getting them tommorrow and others next week. I seriously doubt that if there was a labeling problem that it affected every single shipment. Those that were affected will simply be delayed until next week. Those that were not will be released as planned tommorrow. If you are fotunate enough to purchase the phone from a store that has the phone tomorrow than good for you. If not, just wait another week. Plain and simple.

I personally think the VX7000 looks way cooler than the V710. Even thought he V710 has a bigger screen and a few more features I'm still gonna buy the VX7000.

🙂 I went to my local store today, I spoke with the manager of the store, she said it coming out tomorrow as they are launching Video Mesging; she even let me held a dummy of the VX7000, It's bigger than my T730, I liked it, it seems to be a good phone, but Im still waiting for the V710 oh! she also told me that the Audiovox 9900 will not be released 🤭
