Motorola V710

Is the mp3 player enabled for the USCC motorola v710? Are there any listed features for this phone that are not available on the us cellular network? Obviously easyedge would be the data service.

I found an awesome cellphone accessory online. It's a 4-way charger. It can charge a cell phone from AC, car, USB or a 9V battery. However, the V710 isn't listed under the compatibility chart. However, it does list T720, T720i, T721, T722i, T30, T731, V70, V300, V400, V60i, V60c, V60p, V60s, V60t, V60t color, V60g and more. Does it make sense that the V710 wouldn't work with this power adapter or is the list just outdated? Any help would be great.

Has anyone heard of any new software updates coming out to make the V710 more like the E815? (ie. view clock on outer display when phone goes dim, use speaker phone while flip is closed). You would think with all the praise the E815 is getting something would be done to improve the V710.

There are post over at HowardForums that say they have enabled OBEX on the new E815 with a seem edit!!!!!!!!!!!! 😲

Which phone has better reception?

Reception is my main concern and I'm interested in either the Motorola V710 or the LG VX6100.

Reception is my primary concern while everything else is secondary.

Would love some thoughts.

anyone having a problem with their pic on the transflash being currupt or not showing and just a big X where the pic should be...and when you Move or copy it to your phone it is just the same X

My wonderful V710 stopped booting up this morning. If I look carefully at the screen it begins to show the beginnings of the startup screen and then goes to black. At the Verizon store, one rep called it an "incomplete startup," the other an "incomplete wakeup." Either way, I really, really don't want to lose my numbers. Anyone have any suggestions? Ive called verizon and they are out of stock. Every store within 75 miles of me is out of stock for this phone. I cannot use the trans flash card because it freezes when I try to access the card. What do you think I should do?

Verzon told me to call the insurance company and claim a report and they will give me a new one, and they would give me $50 on my account. Should I do this? Ive been having this problem for the past 4 months, and its pissing me off.
Will my old phone lock up if I do claim a lost/stolen report? Id have to go to the police station and file a claim and all that stuff, and I should have to do this. 😡

i need help my samsung 650 is broken and i whant to upgrade i have full insuranc i was thinking of upgrading to a v710 a840 or a e815 is their any way to do this without paying retaile price i am willing to try anything even a little bit of lying i can pay some money i just dont belive in paying $400 for a phone others are getting for $100.

I was informed today by Verizon Customer Care that the V710 price reduction was temporary and that they plan on raising the price of the V710 in the very near future so if you plan on getting a V710 now is the time!

has anybody else had problems with the motorola hs850 bluetooth headset...when i use it the person i am talking with complains about a terrible echo...i use it with the v710 with verizon...

I just ordered a V710 from Verizon and was pleasantly surprised to get it for free on the new every two plan.

I want to be able to connect the phone to my PC to update the phone book, ring tones, pictures, etc; but I am not sure what kit to get. I have seen several different kits advertised on the Internet. I was a little surprised to see that Verizon doesn't offer one on there web site. Can someone help me out?

What kit offers the most features?
Where should I get it?
How much should I expect to pay?

I have 3 V710 in this house. I have bluetooth setup to run Motorola Phone tools, and can move Ringtones over to my phone.

Can I use multiple users (Phones) with MPT?

At the start of the program (MPT) there is an option for "new user" and I have tried it, but it seems when I go back to my 1st user, that I have trouble getting recognized.

I assume this may be just a "way" or "order" that I am doing something.

Also, what do most people sync with? Do they use MPT to sync?, and then if they do, do they save it to OUTLOOK, OUTLOOK Express, or MPT?

Can someone help me out with getting the transflash card to work i was given instructions on phonescoop.com by someone to get it to work but it didn't work i cant even do anything with it i tried to format it through Menu, Phone Info, Storage Devices, I highlighted Trans T-Flash and pressed the menu button and pressed select to format the card but it wont let me transfer MP3's or anything and i don't know if the instructions were wrong or if i need to download a MP3 media player program or what. Any help would be appreciated!

Is there anyway to do this without the hack I have read about? What exactly does the hack do? How much are those memory cards for the phone? Are they resonably priced? I am debating whether to get this or the VX8000. I want the features included in the hakc where I can use that program to transfer pictures and ringtones. I don't want it to mess up my phone. Does the hack add any extra features. Thanks a lto.

Anybody know how to "fix" this?

Lets say you enter the following number, #201, into a contact (into the number field of a contact). You name that contact, for example, Robin.

Then you do a manual dial of the number, #646, which is the Verizon number to receive a text message on the amount of minutes used.

When I push send, the display says... Calling Robin. However, it dials the correct number, #646 but says Robin instead of Calling #646.

It looks like it is going through the address book and taking a similar match. As soon as I delete the Robin entry, it is fine.

Any other way to have it display properly? The #201 is actually a "Gate" code when I drive up to her house. So, I just use it for reference and placed it in the numb...
