Motorola RAZR V3

My V3 Razr, without warning, just all of a sudden lost all function of the keys EXCEPT the on/off button. Eveyrthing other button just shows the ringer volume when pressed. Anyone have any ideas about this, or how I can reset from the off position? Thanks!!!

Hi all, I bought my wife the pink razor for valentines day and she really loves it. But, when I call her I hear a high pitched noise in the background. I have asked her to check her signal strength when I hear this, and it happens with 2 bars to 1 bar. Is this something others have experienced, or should I take it back and get it exchanged?

I have the RAZR on cingular, and I know there is a code you can enter directly on the phone to extend (or shorten) the ringing duration before it cuts off to the voicemail. (I basically want to have more time to pick up a call before it cuts off) I did that once, but now I can't remember the code! 😡

Does anyone know what the code is?
It'll be greatly appreciated.

I keep my phone plugged in at night on my dresser right next to my alarm clock radio. I keep waking up in the night, several times, because my radio starts buzzing loudly. This had never happened until I started using my new phone just this past weekend. Now that it's Monday and I'm at work again, my phone is sitting on my desk right next to my walkman radio. Now my walkman is doing a similar buzzing through the headphones.

Any ideas on why this is happening and how to make it stop?

ok, so i recently got a razr (from a v551) and i have the motorola phone tools software and so i make my own ringtones and such and my friend who has a v551 wanted some ringtones so i was going to connect to his phone like ive done many times before with my old v551, except this time neither phone can find each other. so another person that was there when we were doing this had a 551 and their phones were able to connect but neither one could find my phone. did cingular or motorola disable the connectivity to other phones with the razr? my girlfriend has the silver one when it first came to cingular and i was able to send her ringtones too.... so i dont know if im not doing something wrong because this isnt the first time ive done this. ...

I've had my Razr for two weeks now and aside from teh realitively weak speakerphone, the low level of the bluetoth headset, and the tricky placement of the earpiece speaker in order to actually hear anything, I'm happy wit the phone.

I'm coming back to SunCom after being with Nextel for the last 5 years. The Moto phones used in Nextel were GREAT. Anyway, I've noe saved ALL my numbers to the phone (ringtones,etc.) but would also like to save them either to the SIMM or, at least, to my pc as a backup.

From thos ewho may have used either program, DataPilot or Mobile Phone Tools, which is preferred? I'd also like to be able to create my own ringtones, ala Xingtones.. but not have to pay the $20 to do so, on top of phone mgmt software.

Does the pink RAZR have video capture???

How do I get this out and how can I take the screen cover off? I showed the Cingular store and they said oh just blow canned air thru the vents and I tried that and it didnt work. I think it might be sand because I went to the beach with it a while ago and now its there. What can I do? it really looks bad on the screen!

Why would you pay $100 more to get the exact same thing in PINK? I am an authorized agent of Cingular and sell these pink RZRs everyday for $100 more than the silver and black ones. People are insane!

As a side not: Sorry to those reading this that paid $100 more for the pink RZR.

hey, i bought my black razr last september and i found out that there is a version of the same razr that has video capture on it. is there any way i can upgrade my firmware on my phone..or do i have to do something else.

When i attempt to connect my phone to the computer using Mobile Phone Tools and a USB cable it does not work. The program initializes the installation of the phone and after about 80% of the installation it quits and goes into the main program, The cheap phone graphic where you control all the options, and say "initializing....." but never connects. Any ideas on what to do?

Hey all. Now that most of you have had a chance to own a RAZR for almost a year or so, I have some questions as I'm looking to get a RAZR for my wife.

1) Does it get scratched easily? If so, do most of you use a case of some sort to prevent it from scratching?

2) How well does it respnd when the phone is accidentally dropped? Does it dent or break easily?

👿 I bought this phone AND TWO BAD THINGS I LEARNED:

1. The text method for this phone is iTap method only, which is an older version. The newest version is the T9 prediction text which is much easier and faster than iTap.

2. The vibrator is very weak. I can barely feel it in my pocket, there are times when I can't.

My bf wants to get this phone. He wants my advise on the phone, I told him it was a good phone but he does A LOT of txt msging.
Do you guys think this phone is txt msging friendly? I ask this cuz of the keypad being so flat, he does a lot of txt msging, even while driving too!!! I don't want him to get in a car accident cuz of this phone 😕 ☹️

I have a Moto razr and my carrier is T-Mobile. I used email attachment to send an mp3 file to my Razr, but when I tried to save it, the razr said the file unrecognized and can store the file.

The phone doesn't come with a USB cable. If I need to use USB to upload MP3, where can i order a compatible cable? and do i need any software to upload the mp3?

Initially I left Sprint for T-Mobile only because Sprint had crappy phones and I wanted a cool phone with Bluetooth. T-Mobile seemed like the best choice because they offered a great plan (1000 min for $39).

From the first day I was disappointed with the horrendous sound quality. Six months later I went back to Sprint because they have the new Blade. Feels great to actually be able to have conversations with clarity. I'm absolutely glad I switched, this phone is so much greater than the Razr. I can use it to connect to the internet on my laptop at speeds much faster than with T-Mobile. Sirius satellite radio, live TV, 1.3 megapixel swivel camera, ... I don't miss the Razr one bit.

has anyone tried this??? it sounds pretty cool, and how many channels are available on it. for $10 more a month i wud hope it wud b a lot.

Occasionally the external screen's backlight will stay on and the only way to correct it is to power my phone on/off. One time i let it go to see if the light would ever turn off, but it drain my full battery without it ever turning off.
It's NOT happening when connected to a charger.
It usually starts when i've opened and closed the flip (when the screen is supposed to light up) and sometimes it just doesn't turn off, intermittently.
I DO have a picture, not taken from the phone's camera, as my wallpaper. It was transferred with motophonetools.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I couldn't find any thread like this, so any input would be appreciated.

gave my motorola v551 to my daughter and thaught id be up grading when i just went out and got my razr v3 .. but it seems like i cant take vidios with it .. is this true?
