Siemens SX66 / MDA III / PDA2K (HTC Blue Angel)

I currently have a Siemens SX66 and its having some problems. According to the Cingular rep. I might get an HP Ipaq 6515. does anyone know if this phone is comparable to my Siemens?

The Siemens is Currently back-ordered and has been for a couple of weeks now.

Has anyone else had problems with this phone randomly resetting itself and losing info such as ringtones and pictures???

My unit keeps defaulting to the lowest backlight brightness setting for battery power. Is there a way to save the brightness level at a higher level?

I was thinking of buying the card through singular, but decided to try using the phone first.

I am getting a slightly used sx66 with 2003SE. What should I do with it first. I want to update and install before I load all my info from my old palm. I downloaded SX66Update, Should I do that first? Then anything else I should load? Want to be sure it is set before I download and then loose info later. Hate reinstall. Never used PPC yet. 😁

Hey my friend sold me a siemens sx66 and I guess she found it and I can't get the passcode 4 it to go pass the password page please help me out is there any way 2 get passed this I put in my own simcard but it still has some other guys or womenens passcode saved 2 the phone please help me out somebody

wanted to know if anyone was having trbl with headset connecting to the phone. sometimes it will and sometimes it will not. sometimes the headset will answer a call but will not be able to hear in headset. one call the headset will answer and the next it won't. i am using the bluetrek g2 headset. any help is preciated.

Hey, I am looking for a Home/Travel Charger for the SX66. If anyone has one I would purchase it ASAP. I have looked at many accessory sites and no one has one. I NEED HELP.I HAVE A SIEMENS SX66.RECENTLY I DOCKED MY PHONE AND DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS ON AUTOMATIC BACKUP.THE PHONE RANG AND I PICKED IT UP WHILE BACKUP WAS IN PROCESS.NOW I CAN'T GET NEW INFO TO SYNC WITH MY COMPUTER.I HAVE TRIED A HARD RESET AND RESTORE,ALSO BACKING UP TO PRIOR BACKUP FILES I KNOW WERE CLEAN,I HAVE ALSO REMOVED AND RESTORED ACTIVESYNC FROM THE ORIGINAL CD, AS WELL AS UPDATED TO ACTIVSYNC 3.8 AND DONE ANOTHER HARD RESET AND RESTORE ONLY TO FIND THAT ANY NEW DATA IS NOT SYNCED WITH THE COMPUTER. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED. THANKS GBM

I just got an sx66 and I love it. My only problem is that I can't get the mediaNet GPRS to work. I called Cingular and they were clueless. They gave me a case number and said they would call back in a week. Maybe someone here can help.

When I try to bring up a web page I get the following error:

Cannot connect
Dialed: wap.cingular
The answering modem has disconnected.
To check your connection go to settings.

Please help!

OK first of all this is a great phone, you can do pretty much anything you want with it.....you just need patience!! Lots of patience!! I've been trying to set up MMS (cant send or receive) for a while now with no luck. Can some one give me the settings that I need? I'm using ATT service...

Also does anyone know how to put custom ringing on this phone? or where to get some good freeware?

I currently have a V551 through Cingular and wonder if I can use the Sim card with a SX66. I've read many good and bad reviews on the SX66 and would feel a lot better if I could just fall back on my V551 if the SX66 doesn't work out.

I just got my SX66. I bought a 1gb SanDisk SD card for it. After having alot of trouble trying to get my SX66 to see it, i got mad, and I put a 32mb PNY SD card into it. Works like it is sapposed to...

Is their a size limit, compatabilty issue that I ran into?

Hello everyone !!! Does any one have a problem with the battery of SX66? My battery sometimes comes off from the phone all of a sudden when working or making/recieving phone.And then I have to load all the contents from my computer back again. Just wanted to know if other people have the same problem or its just my phone. Help me Pls.

I know the Cingular SX66 has wi-fi built in, but finding it to buy is another matter. And, the truth be known, I'm a bit pissed at Cingular just now so am looking at Verizon. 👿

Does anyone know if the Verizon version of this phone (Audiovox 6600) is compatible with any of the wi-fi SDIO cards?
