Motorola RAZR V3c

i am currently using the e815, but want to upgrade to the razr...should i just go ahead and buy the razr..or is verizon going to drop the price of the razr anytime soon....any insight would be appreciated....

I thought I read somewhere that there might be a firmware upgrade for Verizon's new RAZR that might help with battery life or overall stability. Does anyone have any insights?

In general, the phone has been great for me. Battery life is not good but I just charge it while driving. It has gotten slow a couple of times but never completely "hung up" on me.

Has anyone tried doing this? That would be pretty cool to have access to your gmail account through your razr.

Anyone know how it works as far as using the "data plan"? I have unlimited txt, pix and flix messaging I think - does that include internet access? is that the data plan they are referring to?

Right now I just bought a Verizon Wireless RAZR V3c. And I already got glitches and bugs. Yeah the reviews about it are pretty true. It got the look but not a good software, and not much features. It is all compact and slick, but when it got problems who want it?

So I am asking you people if I should get a LG VX-9800, and return my RARZ?
The LG the V got alot more features and memory. And the software don't seem as bad as the Verizon RARZ.

My friends and cousins got RAZR's but from different providers, such as T-Mobile & Cingular.
But they don't seem to get any glitches that the Verizon' RARZ has...

So help me cauz I dont want to waste my money on something dumb!

Okay, so I've talked to several verizon and cingular reps and they each have a different response. One actually said I don't know ! 😲

Anyway, does the razr have a headset jack where I could plug in a headset or would I ONLY be able to use the bluetooth? I am planning on purchasing a bluetooth headset but do spend 2 to 3 hours at a time on the phone and fear that the bluetooth headset would not hold the charge that long.

Does anyone know how to enable OP ( object Push) on the V3c or is that unavailable?

wow, this is an amazing phone in the call clarity dept. I thought it couldn't get better, I was wrong. I know most of you have this phone all ready, but if you dont and have questions feel free. Do these damn moto stickers come off???? I'm scrared to try to peel them off. anyone thanks

Yes, it's true. Problem after problem. Now this one freezes on me! I might just go back to my Samsung A670. My problems: Slow response after pressing any key on the key pad, freezes sometimes, battery life pathetic, and... Anybody else?

Just in case noone noticed yet, the pink RAZR is now on Verizon's website.

Does anyone know just how many text messages this phone can hold? I had over a 1,000 but my phone was running slow so I deleted them. I was just wondering if anyone knew the max number before it started deleting them.

When I bring my video clips over to my computer they are .3g2 files which are played in quicktime...but when I try to play them it doesnt work.

anyone else have this problem? do I have to rename the file to a different file extension or something?

Hi Everyone,
MPT has been updated to 4.04. I had to update twice, once to 3.30 and then to 4.04. I installed it and it automatically recognized my razr v3c but there was no Multimedia Studio option. I just selected menu, setup, general setup, communication, and then selected change modem (make sure you check the box so it will not automatically select the v3c). Change the phone to the v3cm and viola, you get Multimedia Studio.

has anyone noticed that this phone has a slow user interface...like there is a lag when u press a button on how long it takes to open up whatever that button is.... i used a razr from cingular and it worked a lot faster...and i tried this on a few phones..... any info would help....

😁 I really appreciate everyone's insight and POSTS! It really helped me over the last month or so. Any issues I had about the RAZR V3c were either misconceptions on my part, fixed over the phone, or nicely swapped for a new one. I've read a lot of these comments and what I'm most surprised NOT to see here is mention of what I find to be the best feature... "In ear feedback", NOT ECHO as I think so many have possibly referred to it. (and not the SpeakerPhone Echo issue either) No longer am I talking into a BANANA with no sense of my own voice or volume. This thing is more enjoyable than my home phone or desk phone to carry on conversation. My StarTac had this as well years ago and I thought for the last few years this was just a feature long...

how well does the camera work? does it take good pictures with low or normal light? and how choppy is the video function?

What is everyones take on the e815 versus the V3C. I currnetly have the 815 but like the sleekness of the v3c and I don't really care too muhc about the transflash, but I would like to be able to connect my the v3c to my laptop.

Does the 815 get better speeds than the v3c.

Also I am in a very unique situation with verizon. I have the ability to upgrade my e815 for the v3c for free or get out of my contract for free.

I have tried out CINGY's 2125 which is really my ideal phone because of the smartphone capabilities but I can't make a decision if I should jump ship or stay where I am and tough it out for the Q or somehting better. Any input??

Just want to share it with you. I purchase a mobile phone management tool from one of the COMPUSA stores, the package looks great (just like one of Sony's software packages), and the price is reasonable (compare to other similar products in the market). The package includes 1 data cable and 1 software CD, the software really surprises me! It can turn my Razr to MP3 ringtone (any ringtone I like!), and the software includes more than hundreds pictures and ringtone!
Just want to let you know that I like this small tool very much. If you are a Razr lover, you really do not want to miss this nice product!

Has anyone figured out a way to remove the ERI banner without having to do seem edits with USB and PST? I dont want to have to buy a data cable just to remove the ERI!!! But its really clogging up my front display.

Interestingly enough, it does seem to disappear sometimes on its own. lol, but always seems to come back. I think it only shows it when im in EVDO coverage...

I would also like to know if there is a way to disable the EVDO to save battery life... There is no Menu 0 like on the 8100.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Between these couple of things and some issues with the ring not being loud enough im considering hoing back to my 8100.
