Motorola RAZR V3c

Verizon's RAZR: I have returned this phone already because of the talking phone feature was not working properly and the speakerphone had an echo. Now my 2nd RAZR's speakerphone works great but the talking phone feature still does not. It did work when I left the Verizon store but decided to quit on me. Does anyone else have this problem? It will speak the digits while only in 'alarm mode' only and no names are ever spoken when people are calling. I have tried everything. Any suggestions?

Whenever I have my phone in my pocket, the buttons on the side get hit and it changes the ringer type/volume. Is there anyway to disable this function?

my friend has the cingular razr and puts ringtones/wallpapers on his phone. we tried putting both on mine and only the wallpapers showed up. It said I was using obex. where would I find the ringtones on the phone if they DL'ed? We looked everywhere. thanks to all.

I'm getting ready to upgrade my phone and would like some input as to which is a better phone. I currently have the LG-VX6100. It's between the VX-8100 or the RAZR. The most important things to are the reception and battery life. Any suggestions?

im not sure if this problem was adressed already, but most of the time wen i use speakerphone the other caller cant hear me. it happens rite in the middle of a fone call. does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it? thank u very much in advance.

Whenever I plug in my Razr, even when the ring style is set to vibrate, it says Charging, then it changes the ring style to Master Volume (which is a loud song).

Is there a way to change this so it stays the same when you plug in the charger?!

I have Verizon service, and use the Motorola Car Kit. When I use the handsfree car kit and say "goto voicemail" it does, but then the prompt instructs me to enter my password....there goes handsfree. Is there any way to eliminate the need to enter a password by having to press it in on the phone pad? I went to administrative options in the voicemail setup, and did not hear anything that sounded like a remedy.

I have an Alltel Razr and wanted to use it for verizon,is this possible and what needs to be done?

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this phone, when paired with UConnect in my Chrysler 300Touring, shows both signal strength and battery power meter on my nav screen. When my battery on phone drops to a very low level, the UConnect voice announces this over my speakers. My V710 phone never showed and meter information from the phone, but now the RAZR does. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the names of callers to display on screen, rather than just the phone numbers?

Had to return this phone 5 times but i finally got one thhat is PERFECT!

I had the dude at best buy let me inspect all of the ones in his stock and found one that has a nice tight keypad,

has no lag

opens nice and smoothly

all the aluminum is nice and in line and the phone feels tight.

Don't settle for rattle boxes... just keep returning them until you find the one you paid for...

I just returned my RAZR for the E815. I must admit the RAZR sure was a sexier device but it was poorly put into service. The bluetooth on it kept dropping connections and you would have to sometimes re-pair the device or turn the phone on/off. The menu system is also very poor. Plus the issues with the loose keypad. I really wanted to like that device but the bluetooth issue was just too much. You can read more about the bluetooth issue at Howard Forums. It doesn't seem to be isolated and it will probably be months before Verizon/Motorola get their act together on a software update. This is assuming it is a software update.

So far the E815 is nice...I have always like Moto products so it was very disappointing to trade the RAZR......

I am always missing phone calls, the phone goes into the silent mode all the time.

Also there is now way to make the phone vibrate then ring like on the 815??

Hi folks,

Got two Razrs from my Verizon store yesterday. Really like the phones - exchanged a couple of LG 8100's because I could never get the volume right, and the speaker phone echoed according to everyone I called.

Pretty sure I'm going to keep 'em, but... what's up with the boot up? I just timed it, and it takes a full twenty seconds to go from power off to ready to dial.

Any suggestions?

By the way, is it recommended to turn off EVDO to save battery power?

I have been unable to pair my Razr V3c with my 2005 Acura MDX. My V710 worked like a charm, but I can't seem to get the V3c to work. Talking to Acura and Motorola did no good. Does anyone have any (useful) advice? Is it worth talking to Verizon and trying to get them to include something in their upcoming software update? Who at Verizon would I even talk to?

Boy. That's a lot of questions. I must sound like Rosanne Rosannadanna.
