Motorola RAZR V3c

Need help! What happened to the walmart free ring tones? After saving they don't play sound.

my old phone had a "missed calls" folder along with the dialed and received. does the razr have a place that keeps and shows missed calls? I cant find it.

Hi everyone. I have had my Razr for 2 days, and am very disappointed with how poorly the person Im talking to sounds. I can barely hear them even when ear volume is up to 7. not very loud in general, and some sound muffled. this really causes a problem when Im trying to hear while driving on the interstate.

did anyone else notice this with their phone, or could I have a bad phone?

I AM CURRENTLY USING A TREO 650 AND WOULD LOVE TO GET RID OF IT AND GO WITH THE RAZOR. I HAVE MPT 4.0 TO KEEP UP MY PIM INFORMATION THE NEXT THING I AM LOOKING FOR IS THE ACCESS TO MY EMAIL. I HAVE LOOKED AT SODAPOPMAIL AND WOULD LOVE SOME FEED BACK AS TO HOW WELL THESE SERVICES WORK OR IF I AM WASTING MY TIME AND SHOULD WAIT FOR THE MOTOROLA Q.

does this razr work with the v3 option in bitpim or just under other cdma phone, or is there any new version of bitpim that supports the razr. tyhx

ive seen people around saying mobile phone tools works with verizon, will it work if i buy it now? if not wat is everyone using and when will mpt work for vzw if ever?

I just got the Razr and want to sync it with my laptop (windows xp pro)

What do I need on the PC to accomplish this?

Is there special software?

I want to store my contacts on the computer and tansfer them to the phone and also would like to sync the calendar with my Outlook.

lifting keypad

lack of reminder tone sound *many unanswered text's and voice mails*

slower than absoloute death trying to navigate

the fact of no flash is ludicrous

i had the 710 prior to this and it was awsome, now i'm gonna get the E815 in hopes that it will continue the 710 era and be reliable and actually useful.

i was outside of my 15 day's, but thankfully i talked with a VZ rep and they allowed me to return for the 815.

I know that the GSM version of the V3 did not allow voice dailing from the BT headset. At one time (about 5-6 months ago, I think), I called Motorola and was told that the V710 was the only phone that did allow voice dialing from the headset. I went to Alltel yesterday to ask about this, and when they called tech support they were told that the V3 DID NOT allow voice dialing from the headset. They also said that none of the phones allowed this, which as a V710 owner I know is false. Can someone who has the V3 (maybe even someone who previously had a V710) tell me if name and digit dailing are available from the headset? Thanks!

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong spot for this type of question, but I have found most people here to be extremely helpful, so I figured I would ask. If I get my Razr and end up not liking it for some reason and return it with the 15 days - am I able to cancel my 2 year extension on my contract, or does the 2 year extension have to stay in place and I am stuck with my old phone for 2 more years? Does anyone know how that works? Thanks!

It seems like about 90% of the people on this forum have the Verizon RAZR and about 80% of them have some kind of complaint with it, I currently have Midwest Wireless, which in my location (Southern Minnesota) is pretty much a flawless service. Well in the first half of 2006, Alltel will be taking over, and when that happens, I would really like to purchase a RAZR, But I haven't seen much feedback on the Alltel version, and I have seen no bad feedback about it, I would really like to be educated about the phone before I purchase it and would like feedback from other Alltel customers who own the RAZR good and bad, I am not interested in feedback from Verizon users, I have had my fill of that.

I already returned this trash (v3c) 1 time and it still has problems .... should I go on a returning spree and return it over and over untill I get the right one or should I just get the "LG: VX9800 THE V"...

am i correct in saying that verizon will not be getting the pink razr? at least not with the initial launch? i saw a commericial last night for the phone and it said t-moble 😢

US Cellular is now advertising the V3c on their website! Has anyone gotten one yet? If so, are there any differences compared to the Alltel version? I'm assuming the US Cellular version does not sport the Verizon User Interface 😉

Good grief. I've had the RAZR V3c on Verizon since Dec. 16th. I am already starting to have screen problems with it, and the hinge feels like I've had the phone for 6 months.

This afternoon, I flipped the phone open, and the screen turned off, then flickered off and on, then finally came on. Then the phone lost reception and just kind of sat there searching for a little bit, then got reception back. Then, the ERI banner kept flashing off and on... so I really don't know what's going on.

Just now, I had turned the phone back on after getting out of a meeting, and the screen just displayed this wierd mix of colors. Each pixel was basically a different color... over the entire screen. After staying that way for about 2 minutes, t...

Hopefully none of this stuff is a duplicate:

First problem I noticed is the clock does not update in real time, it takes going into a menu and exiting, or a call or the like for the clock to update. Also, no matter how many times the directions say so I CANT get it to vibrate & ring at the same time. At my local store the manger said both probs are "glitches" that I have to wait for software updates to come out for, with no ETA of course. Does anyone else have this problem?

How do I delete ringtones I downloaded? Or better yet, is it possible to delete preloaded tones & pics to free up space?

I'm in the market & wanted perspective on v3c durability. After my first samsung, I'm spoiled on what a phone will take.

Don't bother replying with a "it's electronics...what do you expect?" It's also for daily use, & I want a phone that will keep up with me. If I want to baby something...I'll get a baby.

Anyone dropped their v3c? how high, where'd it land (corner / edge), onto what surface, & any damage?

Any stress damage? (in pants pocket, repetitive stress on keypad)

I'd rather not get a rubber-edged lunchbox of a phone, but I don't want something that looks good until it shatters 5 mins from the box.
