man for a phone thats going to cost a arm and leg, this is a downgrade for me anyway!!!

camera with no flash
65,000 internal display
memory 30MB
and cost, were not going to go there

just terrible!!!! this phone is even a downgrade for the LG 8100
but iam not going to knock anybody who really wants it!!!

I got my phone 2 connent to MPT but how do i transfer pictures and ringtones

OK this is concerning me - so far I have heard of a number of problems with this and wonder if they are going to be fixed or not.
Low battery life-
It has a small battery so it is not going to last as long as a 1000milap battery no matter what you do but leaving BlueTooth on if you are not using it will significantly affect charge life. I have heard that one of the advanced network features drains life as it is always checking online for updates or such is this that EVO thing? Is an extra sized battery possible or available?

Buzz in speaker. Lots of people say they hear a buzz after making a call. whats with that?

Loose top panel. I have heard that the top faceplate gets loose and can stick out. apparently there was anot...

2. Startup and shut down animations replaced with other animations.

After reading all the posts on Mobile Phone Tools I am trying it out. I installed drivertool.zip.
I then installed version 2.3 of MPT. It then live updated to version 2.5b. I did not at first register. I read that I should update to version 2.8? How is that done? I chose the GSM version of the razr thinking that this will give me file transfer capability. It did not. I have a picture of the razr and I keep getting the message initializing on it. So, how do I get version 2.8 and what phone do I pick (and how do I change it now) to get file transfer possiblities?

verizon version. Is there a way to ajust the bcklight on the front screen, i haven't been able to figuere it out and couldn't find it in the forum. I hope there is becasue the external display is awful, i can barely read it.

does the charger go into the usb port or is there a port on the bottom?

I'm looking to purchase the new Razr and I want to know what is the best bluetooth headset out there. I heard about the H3 coming out from reading other threads.

Can anyone help me with this? I need recommendations!

Can you input multiple numbers for one contact or are you forced to enter each number as a seperate contact?

MY SCREEN SAVER GOES TO A BLANK SCREEN RATHER THAN ANY PICTURE I CHOOSE. I SET THE DELAY TO ONE MINUTE. I EVEN TURNER THE BATTERY SAVER OFF. ALSO TRIED IT ON TWO PHONES IN A VERIZON STORE. SAME PROBLEM.

1.) does this have a menu rite in the middle of the screen like the t730? like are there 4 options rite in the middle of the screen that obstruct the background image? if there is, is there a way to get rid the options on the screen?

2.) does this have a removable card like a mmc, mini sd, etc.?

3.) i here there are color options? if there are what colors are availible?

4.) what is the resolution on the video capture ability?

5.) i kno it has a 1.3 megapixel camera, but how is the overall quality of the pictures? i have a lg vx8000 and the camera is great but i know the samsung sch-a970 camera is a 2 megapixel but it sux. just curious.

I have tried 2 bluetooth headsets and they are both coming up with static. Does anyone know what is wrong or what headset is good for it?

just wondering if any fellow razr owners out there have experienced this. verizon says i should not use it at volume 7 (highest) but i say otherwise. it starts to happen at around volume 5 and is noticeable at volume 7. any info greatly apreciated.

Has anyone noticed that the top of their keypad is loose? I took back mine once already and the same thing is happening. Anyone know if the GSM Razr does this? thanks

Funformobile - I do receive the text and see the sound attachment (.mid). I click "ok" to retreive the ringer, but the phone tries to connect (I'm assuming the net) and gives me "NationalAccess Coverage not available". I would think being in NYC that would not be a prob.

I also try connect to Pix Place, because for some reason, some ringers have gone there. When I try to connect, I've received the 403 error.

Any suggestions? Any one else getting the same thing?

I just purchased a non-Bluetooth hands free device with the usb connector at the end. For some reason I can't hear through it. Is there a setting or something along those lines on the phone that I need to activate in order to use this? Thanks!

Initially, I was using MPT 3.11 (with DriverTool installed) and the Multimedia Tab was available appearing on generic phone skin - I had not updated or registered. I figured it was good to go, but the files did not transfer over because of some edit unable to play error.

SO, I acquired 3.23. Installed it, did not register, updated to 3.25b, and updated that to 3.28.

I did not select the phone I am using, but the skin that appears is the Razr V3. The Multimedia Tab does not appear.

I'm thinking if I change the model of the phone to the E815, maybe it'll resolve the issue. Question is how to do so?

i can not get files to transfer between my razr and my mac, the profile on the apple says that my phone is obex, but evertime i try to transfer a file a get a weird error message, i do not know if everything is set up right, can someone point me in the right direction!
