HTC 8125 / 8100 / MDA (USA) / K-JAM / P4300 (Wizard)

I've got a customer who wants to know if there's any way (either natively or thru a 3rd party app) to run a PowerPoint presentation off the 8125. Since this is the first time I've laid my grubby little hands on one for any length of time I couldn't really answer.

Anyone know of a way to do this?

Can anyone recommend a software package, preferably free, that will take a full song and shorten it for use as a ringtone?

I have been getting an error stating. " This page is running a script that may cause this to stop running or responding". Im using Internet exploder on this. The sites on question are ESPN.com, and Herald.com, also NFL.com. Anyone know how to fix this, or If there is a 3rd party browser out there that will work. Thanks much !!

I have worked in the wireless industry since 1998. And I am very impressed with the MDA. I have had mine less than a week and still have a lot to learn but I am thoroughly impressed so far. Bluetooth works well. Active Sync is amazing. The camera is decent. The keyboard is good. The mp3 player is very cool.

To be honest, I have never had a PDA before. I have always used Nokia or Samsung phones. But this thing rocks!

I bought an H700 by going to pricegrabber.com. I got it for $48.69 which is less than half of what it sells for at Best Buy. I love it. It sounds great, people hear me well and it's stylish to boot.

I have the Cingular 8125 (think T-mobile MDA). I was wondering which Skype version you downloaded to use on your phone? Which model does this phone most closely resemble?

Ive Got An 8125 From Cingular And Was Wondering If There Is Any Way Of Syncing The 8125 To A Mac While Using Virtual Pc (Win. 2000)? Inside "My Computer" It Says "Mobile Device" But I Cant Open It Or Anything. Ive Installed Activesync And It Does Not Find My Phone. Can Anybody Refer Me To A Site That'll Help ME Out Or If Anyones Got Any Tips. Thanks In Advance For The HElp!!

Several weeks ago I placed info on this forum, i.e. the MDA and how I was liking the MDA vs. my old Blackberry. However, since that time I have attempted to order accessories from T-Mo for my MDA and after waiting since March 30th for my order to be delivered, I was informed today that T-Mo is no longer going to stock the accessories that I ordered and that my credit card would be refunded the amounts charged for the accessories.

NOW WHAT DOES THIS TELL ME ABOUT T-MO AND ITS ATTEMPTS TO TRY AND SELL AN UPDATED PHONE? It looks like to me that T-Mo is not going to support the MDA.

Well, I am going to research other carriers, and other phones, and move back into the mainstream of cellphone manufacturers AND SUPPLIERS.

I have a cingular 8125 and it works great, little slow on internet though. The problem is, I need to use windows media player 10 which is on the phone, but my PC only has Windows 2000, not XP - You cannot get windows media player 10 on windows 2000, only windows media player 9. i NEED HELP. I tried to download windows media player 7.1 to the 8125 but it would not work. What should I do?

Does anyone know of a way to play unlicensed music or any players that will? I use rhapsody unlimited and pay $10/month and it gives me the ability to save any song they have,(which they've had everything I've wanted), to the comp. for offline play. The file gets saved as an MP3 on my comp. but doesn't have the license. I was able to move the file onto the 8125 but WMP10 said it had to dl the license. It wouldn't so I thought I'd try a different player to see if it would work. I dl'ed TCPMP open source media player and it would open the file, but was unable to play it. Any advise would be appreciated. 😕

Had the phone for a week, love it, it does all sorts of the things I want - but one.

I installed ActiveSync on my laptop. When I plug in the USB cord to the computer, the phone is recognized as a new device by WIndows XP. SO far so good.

But when I open ActiveSync It simply does NOT recognize the MDA on the other end of the cable. It tries to connect with COM1 and COM2 (fails, of course) and then USB (and fails here too).

I have re-installed Active Sync on the laptop; no change.

Ideas?

Does anyone know where i can get this phone at a reasonable price. Preferably 300 and below.

😕 I am totally lost with this. I've done a lot of research and still have no clue whether Java and Flash is implemented within Windows Mobile 5.0 or if it's something that you have to download. Let me explain:

Upon trying to stream video files (clips) and audio from SEVERAL sites I usually get the web page to load but the video / audio player doesn't load. Usually, the web page(s) will have a message that I need to install Java and/or Flash in order to see the video (one example is www.YouTube.com. It's very frustrating and any help would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps this phone wasn't made to be able to view certain types of content? Again, any help...?

Can't seem to get this to work. i type in the ip and click connect and it pops up right away saying "Cannot connect with current connection settins. To Change your connection settins, tap settings. "dismiss"" it's like it doesn't even use edge.

My edge does work fine though. any thoughts on this? also can windows mobile 5 recognize port forwarding?

Does the T-Mobile MDA have voice dialing?

Phonescoop's front page says some versions of this device do and some don't.
