Is M1 the last Model to be released from SANYO

Does anyone know if the M1 is the last phone to be released under the SANYO Brand Name. I read in several threads that Sanyo was selling it's wireless division? Is this true or just a rumor, as I can't find any Corp. Information on this?

ITS A FACT!

Its a fact that morons are going to post in this forum! I am so tired of this post and nothing productive has come out of this forum today. Maybe this post will help push the previous one off the list.

Let the forum roll on!

ITS A FACT!

I was watching the news the other day and they were talking about cell phones and who has the most dropped calls. Guess who was the worst? Yep SPRINT was at the bottom of the cell phone chain with the worst reception.

I was considering sprint but not anymore!

I was actually considering sprint. I went to the website first to checkout the phones and plans before i got my lazy butt off the couch to go actually try and sign up. The website was so awful i dont want sprint! I have alltel and i was going to port all 3 lines to sprint! The website was a pain in the butt! First i had to go through all this crap about zip code and then it told me there was a sprint store in my area and blah blah blah and then when i finally got to the phones (by the grace of GOD i got to actually see the phones!) and they only had three to choose from! Then when i went to look at plans i had to go through all this crap about my zip code again and blah blah blah did you know there is a sprint store in your area would you li...

confused about speeds

i'm confused about what types of internet each service provider has and their costs. it's not really made clear on any of their websites. i'm looking for whatever the advertised speeds of either the ev-do or hspda but with alltel for instance, who supposedly use ev-do, offer "broadband speed" for an extra $60, which i assume works off of ev-do, but then they also have a $5 web plan but i'm confused as to what speeds that provides. and sprint supposedly has a $15 plan but with what speeds i don't know, and again like alltel they have a $60 or $80 plan. And when they advertise these more expensive plans they imply you're going to need to use your laptop, (because otherwise you'd just be using your phone in which case you'd just need the %1...

questions

ok i have a lot of questions here. my first question is if i get SERO and get it online, I've heard its through In Phonic, does that mean if i have a problem do I have to call InPhonic? What are the prices of the PPC-6700 and Treo 700p with the SERO plan? Does the 6700 get good reception? How's the battery life on the 6700? Does it freeze up often? Thanks!

Returns?

I added a new line of service through a 3rd party sprint store and I went with the Motorola KRZR. When I got home, I started using the phone and noticed there was about 20 pictures on the phone. I took it back because I did not want a used phone or a demo phone. The did not have anymore, so I went with the Red RAZR. I got back home and one of the side buttons fell off and the phone was making a loud popping sound out of the earpiece. Took it back and they had no more red RAZR's. 3rd times a charm right? NO! Went with the M500, 1st couple of days fine, but now it freezes up and I have to pull the battery to un-freeze it. The store is telling me, they can't swap out for another phone. WTF over? What can I do?

Fraud Question about a new account.

Long story short, I had a Sprint account set up in my name by ID theft, I called sprints' fraud number, and they cleared it up saying it was fraud, and made the balance 0. Now I wanna sign up with SPRINT, and get a SERO plan.

I signed up online, and it went to credit check, and bounced back with a problem. So I called up a Sprint Corp. store, and told them the deal, they said that I had to call up sprints' Fraud dept. to get the block lifted, and there was nothing that he could do in the store. I then called up Sprint, and they said the exact opposite, that I could fix this mess in the store, and in fact I had to, because they needed to view my ID, and verify that I'm me.

Long story short. Who's right? Do I go to a corp store (that I'm...

Sprint C.C

When things get messed up on your account is when u get someone over seas or in Canada. I dont understand why they have C.C. in other countries and Sprint doesnt even have coverage over there. Your just getting a bunch of people that were trained to work for Sprint but actually do not know what Sprint is about. They need to keep their C.C. in the U.S. to avoid problems.

Coverage Question

I currently have a pm225 which gets good reception outside but not in doors. I looked at the Sprint coverage map and some areas I'm in are only shaded in the "middle" green. I've thought about switching to a power vison phone as I have PV in my area. Can I assume that my phone reception would be about the same with a new phone? Thanks in advance. 🙂

SPRINT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!

Everytime, I've called customer service to get something done, it has never happened. You have to call multiple times to get anything done. 90% of the time, I have talked to someone who does not even speak english that well and when I finally asked them what country they are from, they said India. WTF! I'm not interested in a Slurpie Machine. SPRINT, you need to get your crap together. Later.
