SERO open to public

Sprint's SERO plans are special referral-offers meant to be given to Sprint employees only. These plans are offered to customers who are "friends and family" of Sprint employees. SERO stands for the Sprint Employee Referral Offer. The base SERO plan is a $30/month plan offering 500 Fair & Flexible minutes with unlimited data.

However, Sprint has leaked out through unofficial channels a new manner to sign up for SERO, opening up access to the general public. Users who visit the SERO site and enter the employee email address [email protected] email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it can purchase SERO offers.

SERO continues to be promoted heavily around holidays, as a means for Sprint ...

Sanyo 8400.. analog or not?

Ok boys and girls,

Can the 8400 pick up analog signals or not? Everything I have says its Dual Mode/Dual Band. My friend that owns the phone claims it picks up a Analog signal in his school and that the phone displays the word "ANALOG ROAMING" on it.

I did some research and http://cellphones.about.com/od/sanyo/a/prsan_ .htm
says it does and http://www.abcnews.go.com/Technology/ZDM/stor y?id=2691130
says that "though as with all EV-DO phones, there's no analog band)".

I spoke to some other people that say that no EVDO phone can support analog.

WHICH ONE IS IT?!?!?! WHO IS RIGHT?!?!?

Input needed boys & girls(6700 vs 700wx)

I'm going to switch into the Sprint family within the next month pretty much because of the fact that Sprint's unlimited data plan is only $15/month and I get 25% discount off my bill because of my job, nice...

The main feature I am looking for is which phone has a better internet and stronger battery life. I am pretty sure that both phones will give you full HTML browsing but I believe the 6700's screen is larger, which helps but the speed of the two I am not sure of. Also in terms of battery, I am planning on getting an extended battery either way but the standard, which one is to go for?

Also, any other important note that you guys have would be appreciate. Thanks guys...

switching from cingular to sprint...dfw coverage?

Cingular has violated their TOS so I have cancelled my contract without ETF 😁 😁 and now Im month to month. I would like to go to Sprint but want to see how things have changed in the 4 years since I left Sprint. How is the coverage in the DFW area, I go to school in Arlington and spend most my time in the HEB area, and work in Grapevine.

Also everyone like their 700wx. I am going to get that phone and have read good things on HOFO about it.

Another selling point is the 15 dollars unlimited data which I read about in another message list on here. and some SERO plan that is half the price as my cingular bill.

So just general pros and cons with the phone and dfw area please.

Thanks in advance.

Future Power Vision Coverage Area

Hopefully any Sprint reps out there can help me. My Cingular contract has expired. According to Sprint my zip code (40965) has excellent digital phone coverage, but not power vision. My area is listed in future power vision coverage area maps, but 4 e-mails to Sprint have been totally worthless as far as actually obtaining info. I would like to know if it is possible to know when power vision would actually be available in my zip code. If it is soon, I believe I would rather go with Sprint than Cingular. Verizon does not have anything but analog coverage in my area. Can anyone help me?

Question for a rep

I was just reading that if you have a g/f vision on your old plan and switch to a evdo phone they are suppsoe to take that away and you now have to pay for power vision and text. Is there a way to avoid this?

Treo's Data Plan - Keep getting different answers

I am ashamed for having to ask this, but I've talked to four people on how much the Treo's data service is with Sprint, and each one has given me a different answer (or didn't know). My Sprint rep didn't know for sure. A co-worker at Radio Shack said it was the same as the BlackBerry plan, a guy at the Sprint store said it was $15 a month for unlimited access but the speed was much slower than if you paid for the BB plan, and a guy at a Sprint kiosk said it was $15 a month and the speed was the same as with the BB plan. So... What is it?

And if it is $15 a month, why is it so cheep compared to everyone else (both Verizon and Cingular want $50 for the same service)? Is there some catch? Is it truely unlimited (for example, if I wanted to r...

are you guys kidding me?

sprint blows everyone else away with phone selection. personally even though i just bought the M1 i think the blade is better than any folder verizon and the rest has....with the M1 how can you not love sprint's selection? i left verizon because their phones are boring. and honestly, sprint has the same service as verizon in the area where i live and even when i travel! i'm happy with the toys they have 😎

Thinking about leaving sprint, what do you think!

I am currently thinking about leaving sprint. Don't get me wrong their service is great 🙂 , but when I signed up for sprint like 5 years ago, they were the wireless company that had all the good phones.

Now we get everything late and we are in the dust when it comes to phones.

I get board with phones very quickly and there are just not good options for phones.

for example t-mobile, has blackberry pearl, Dash, and other REALLY nice slick phones 😁 .

I am just in a rut bc I need some new phones to choose from that actually have cool features and are new.

Basically, is Sprint going through some hard times when it comes to getting new technology, bc I feel they are lagging behind other companies?????

HELP 😢

played with the 700p and im loving it!

I went to a Verizon store (because the closest sprint store is about 30 miles away) and played with the Treo 700p. Coming from a 2 year old entry level camera phone (8910), the screen and graphics are absolutely stunning! i was browsing these forums and it is so unbelievable!
