Do I really need a PDA phone anymore? The answer is no.

I said:
Well I wanted the 6700 but people are saying its going to be retired by the time my VZW contracts up and I switch. So which treo is better: 700p or 700wx?

I need it for EVDO internet, Email, IM, Music player, organizer, and App machine (I want to go on Handango and just download cool Apps)

needs to sync with Outlook 2000

1. Sprint phones have a full HTML browser.

2. New free email client available

3. I am assuming you can get IM on a regular phone

4. Music phones

5. Phones have a (watered down version) organizer. its good enough

6. outlook sync is not that important.

What should I do????

i guess there is a policy at sprint stores that says you can only exchange a phone once (i just signed up for service last week so i am within my 30 days). however both blades have shut off while exting....will they exchange my phone again? they can't find anyhting wrong with it when they test it....if they don't exchange it i'll have to port to verizon and return my blade....

Where's VIDEO DIAL? Where's Videoconferencing ?

Europe and Japan have video dial. Why are we still stuck on video streaming online? where is 4G where are motion sensitive phones? where are holographic texts? Why are we so far behind?

700wx - Push Email

I am reading a review for the 700wx...

http://www.pdastreet.com/articles/2006/10/2006-10-10 ... »

... and it says it has push Email for corporate servers via Exchange 2003. Does it have push for POP3 accounts using Outlook (such as Gmail) or do i have to have it set to check occasionally and drain the battery. ☚ī¸

Also just wanting to double check on this:

The SERO plan's unlimited data also applies to browsing the web pocket Internet explorer and using Outlook email on a PDA phone, and it doesnt just apply to phones. The last thing i want is to get excited about having PDA and then get my bill and its $350 due to data charges not covered on the plan.

To those interested. Opera Mini 3.0 no longer in beta, and Google Maps in a new revision today

Opera Mini 3.0 which was previously available in beta is now the official release. If anyone tested it w. a A920 Samsung and had freezing issues, the new release cures the problwm. The image compression has really been improved and the browser works better than ever. Google Maps, eh I don't know what they updated, but hey its a higher revision number. WOO HOO!

Were you going to have your friend do the SERO program for you, or just get the email address from him?

The reason I ask is there are some tips you should know that will make it allot easier if you are doing it by yourself.

Unlimited text for 8 bucks added to your account etc, etc - dont do it online make sure you call in is my advice.

Possible Sanyo 7600???????????

I heard a rumor that there will be a Sanyo 7600. I assume it is similar to the 7500 but I haven't heard any details yet. If anyone knows anything please let me know! 😉

Sprint PDAs

I may be switching to Sprint from Verizon and thinking about the PPC6700. Is it a good phone? What other new PDAs are coming soon?

Hahaha

I just did the Phone Finder tool on this site and it only showed the PPC-6700 and 700p. The 6700 came first.

SERO - Phone upgrades

I know Sprint has New For You $150 off a new phone (like VZW's New Every Two). On the SERO plan, do you still get the New For You? When does it kick in? Thanks!

When is this device gonna die?

I'm switching to Sprint from VZW in May 2007. Will the HTC Apache / PPC-6700 probably still be available then?

7pm nights

You know something how stupid do wireless carriers think the general public are? The 7pm nights "promotion" is NOT new. I do not know why Sprint is bringing this back as something new. Its stupid on their part.

NO SUCH THING AS AN IDIOT PROOF PHONE!!!!!

Okay a customer got a phone through telesales, and brought it in screaming and cussing, that we specifically sold him a defective phone, it literally took me ten minutes of coddling him, for him to settle down to explain his issue. His phone wouldn't power on. I take off the battery plate and the battery is still in the plastic bag it came in. I asked him if he put in the battery. In which angrily he retorted yes. I explained you have to take the battery out of the bag. He still angrily retorted that they should explain this.

MORON!
