What is Sprint's problem????

I bought the blade and it would shut off on its own. I brought it in to exchange it and no problem, the sprint store came through. Well the second phone did the same thing so I tried to exchange it for the exact same phone and they said no! I was so mad I immediately went to verizon to port my number over....they said i have 15 days to exchange it as many times as is needed.....seems to me verizon is more customer oriented....

Smartphone Anyone?

When is Sprint going to get it together and bring back a solid Smartphone? The others are killing us with the new GSM sliders and WCDMA technology. Anyone hear what's next for Sprint in the form of a smartphone or PDA???

Nextel18, some Q's.. everyone else, i guess youre welcome too

I had a customer come in the other day, needed to activate two phones she got from telesales.
She was a migration, but the odd part was, someone PROACTIVLEY called her, and asked her to switch, gave her 2 free A900s to do so.
I didnt know there was a direct campaign to switch people from Iden

Can you explain a little more about the consensus plan. I understand its government related, but do you have any links or anything detailing what it is, and why it would be affecting coverage and voice quality on iden?

Is it ok to sign up for Nextel?

I have verizon but I want a good set of good PTT phones too, is it OK to sign up or are all the towers going to be shut off? What is the future?

I want to buy two Motorola i880 is that a good phone?

I want to sign up for the family plan 69.99 for 700 minutes, I see that its for unlimited PTT, can you add mobile to mobile to this plan too for any extra cost?

Is voice service on IDEN really that bad, I read some people complaining about it?

Thank you for any advice you can give me.

I finally got to try high speed EVDO!

๐Ÿ˜

I drove down near Milwaukee today and found that I had a "powervision" icon on my sanyo 8400 phone (now instead of the normal up/down arrow "vision" icon), so I had to try it out.

It really is broadband fast! It actually made it seem faster to use the default browser instead of Opera Mini which I love. Unfortunately, Sprint won't be upgrading my home area until January 07. โ˜น๏ธ At least I have something to look forward to after Christmas!

Citigroup Smith Barneyโ€™s opinion and my opinion on possibility of a Sprint/Comcast merger.

I wanted to state that if anyone can get their hands on the 10 page report and the more detailed 44 page report it would be a great thing because I have perused the entire report and I have to say that they have very good analysts who have gave their opinions on the question at hand.

I will be explaining what they have said about the whole situation and I will explain my opinion. (I also mentioned my opinion during a number of posts.)

They think that Comcast has several options in which to sell wireless services, which includes doing their own MVNO operation, just a distribution agreement, and buying a wireless firm. They said it is a 40% chance of buying a company but they did not mention of what they are going to do.

Distribut...

It was a very bad 3rd quarter for Sprint, but that was expected.

Obviously as anticipated Sprint had a horrible quarter and it has showed as they have reported their earnings.

It is as follows;

Churn; 2.4%

Total 3rd quarter net adds; 233,000

That 233,000 consist of;
A negative on the postpaid of 188,000
Positive 216,000 on prepaid (Boost)
177,000 with MVNO
And 28k with affiliates.

ARPU;

Voice= $61 on postpaid; $32.5 on prepaid

Data;

$7.75 overall but CDMA data ARPU is $10.

On the Power Vision network, there are over 1.5 million customers already on the network.

So the focus seems to be for the quarter is Boost and with Power Vision.

There are key developments that are going to becoming out now and into the future;

New devices, enhance network, enhance Pow...

Sprint's EVDO vs. Verizon's/others - Educate me

Hello,

I'm looking for an expert me on current EVDO service - what Sprint has to offer and what other carriers like Verizon has to offer. I browsed through forums and found that many people claim Sprint's EVDO service by far is the most advanced out of all. If you have time, shoot for the basics and treat me like I'm learning ABC's ๐Ÿ˜

Main things I want to find out:
1) Differences between EVDO, RevO, RevA (and what companies offer which, and its current data coverage area).

2) Is Sprint's EVDO service the most superior out of all carriers? If true, why?

3) I also heard some stuff about 800Mhz/850Mhz/1900Mhz terms used when comparing Verizon and Sprint comes data coverage. What do they mean?

Dis-Embarq

So, any Sprint reps know if I upgrade my phone (which extends my contract) will I loose my combined home/wireless billing with Embarq? Embarq keeps sending me crap in the mail asking to switch to their wireless... That may not work especially with $400 worth of ETF(s) switching from SPCS which is the same thing anyway...

Thinking of switching to Sprint

I'm with Cingular now. I'd like some feedback about Sprint. Every cell service has it's pros & cons.

What do you like and dislike about Sprint?

Sprints rates & plans seem great (better than Cingular). That LG Fusic phone seems cool.
