I was wondering how is Sprints service in the Washington DC metro area? I am thinking about switching to Sprint from T mobile.

Does Sprint charge for the PAM on a per KB basis or do you either have it or not? I ask because I used to not be able to use PAM I would get an error message that said Power Vision not provisioned. Now I tried it today and it worked. I am on a third party dealer line and was wondering if this is maybe something that changed and now is inclued with this pkg. I just dont want to open my bill next month and I have a $100 data charge. Thanks for the insight guys!! 😁

I was in the Sprint store and the guy said there was a new phone coming out in Dec. He said it would "Blow the instinct out of the water."

Back at CTIA, we were frightened by the appearance of the Sprint One Click “Carousel Interface” which surfaced on the LG Lotus, Samsung Rant, and Samsung Highnote. It reminded us all too well of the awful Verizon Wireless User Interface. But, Sprint assured us that like uiOne, that it could be completely disabled.

Only, they were wrong. Like the Verizon Wireless User Interface, Sprint is going to neuter all future phones with a consistent interface… that you have no control over.

I want to download a digital picture of my laptop to the mini sd card so I can place it on my LG Lotus. When I do this it shows its saved but when I place the sd card in my phone it shows that I have 0 pictures. Why is the picture not showing up, do I need to cange the format. If I need to change format how do I do this?

Sprint's One Click (On LG Lotus, Samsung Rant, and Samsung Highnote) I mean come on! It looks just like it... Even with the bubbles...And all the integrated Googleness you can handle.

Maybe it is my desire for the Android phones that makes these thing seem similar. The Only thing I want more than an Android phone is a PSP phone with a touch screen and Sony's XMB & Remote Play.

I am looking at a couple of different phones for my wife. She doesn't use her phone a lot but she does like to take pictures and text a little bit.... not a lot. She doesn't need web access. Well here is the list... please help

I'm trying to decide this right now, I've already ordered my V950 ($0) but I don't know if I want the switch. Has anyone used the V950?
I like the V9 for the huge outside screen and being able to read text on it, and the smooth feel. But I know a few people with DC and it would be cool to switch to it for a bit, not to mention it'd give me a good understanding on the Qchat and help me with my customers. I really don't care much about the mil spec. Can you still read text on the outside? Any software quirks other than the standard Moto software lag? Thanks, -Drake

So I picked up the rant today and already Im a little frustrated because it wont let me download anything from a wap based site. Ive been making ring tones and screen savers and relaying them from freeringers.net. However, now it wont let me do it and says download failed. Anybody have any idea why this is or whether sprint can or ever will fix it. I know this seems like a very minor thing to whine about, but I really would return this if I cant download content that doesnt cost $3.
