BB CURVE

I am getting a new curve from Sprint,

A. I currently have the instinct on the 99 unlimited plan. Would i still be saving money by keeping the curve on this plan as well. I know minutes its good, but how bout everything else.

B. I had a world edition bb with verizon about a year ago, and i know it was locked down, is the sprint curve more open to apps, downloads etc?

Also the main question, is the sprint curve for texting only aloud 180 characters? or is it more...

thanks

its so unfair...

its just so unfair that we are receiving more and more inquiry calls, transferred calls and basically non sellabale calls but it is counted towards our daily performance...why cant all the calls that are being routed to us are more of sellabale calls? we are being measured here by our no. of calls over our no. of sales..so if for example 18 out of 20 calls are inquiries and transferred calls and just got two sales our pecentage would be just 10 percent as compared to our 25% goal..this has been the trend for the past 3 weeks...

what the hell..i maybe start packing up my things now..

Sprint to potential sell off their iDEN network

How may forum members here feel that divesting of Sprint's iDEN wireless network would be a positive initiative on Sprint's part? I started with Sprint in one of their Nextel Communications branded (post merger) retail stores and by sales ratio was 90% CDMA and 10% iDEN. If one of my customers/potentials did not need a rugged phone, GPS/LBS applications or PTT, I steered the person as far away as possible from a Nextel wireless device. Why you may ask? The sound quality of iDEN is definitely not better than CDMA (anyone remember TDMA?) and if you attempted to use a Nextel wireless device outside the iDEN network, you were FUTA royally with pretty much a paperweight in your hand. I pray every day good ole Danny Boy unloads iDEN to someone els...

Stuck between Verizon and Sprint...

Howdy all 🙂

I really hope that I may be able to get some good advice (preferably unbiased lol).

Here's my deal (I posted a similar thread on the verizon forum): I have been a content sprint customer for going on 5 years. In the last several months, my phone has been getting pretty tore up (in large part due to me). For the last almost 2 years, I've been using the sanyo scp 8400. It has been a durable, dependable phone. I've rarely been without coverage, have had nothing but crystal clear calls...not to mention Sprint's customer service in my opinion has improved tremendously over the last couple of years. However, for the past few months my poor phone has been super-glued together at the hinge, shuts on and off as it pleases and the l...

extremely disappointed in service please help

look we all have an expectation when we use a service and I have recently been appalled (sp?) by how I was treated with customer service.

I've contacted them 7 times in the last 4 months for tweaking of my plan (brother in law serving over in iraq and issues with ndc on sprint)

and each and every time i've contacted cs they've always fixed it and made the changes i requested on one call and both the online and over the phone help was extremely polite and troubleshot my issue with clear purpose. I was alarmed by this.

on top of that when i have called into to cs they have all spoken english!

I'm paying for less than I would if i was with another carrier and I'm extremely upset that not only do i pay less but i'm treated well an...

This was done by phonearena, shows how the Instinct actually does compare next to the others by a non-partisan company.

JUST READ!!! you may not like it but open your eyes

You have to ask yourself, when is a company going to eventually give so much away to a customer that it is no longer profitable? Sprint wants your business, but no company can just give away phones all of the time they are not free. If you pay ay least $100 a month before taxes that is $1200 a year. Then ask what does the real cost of the phone you have costs Sprint. An average of $300 per phone (non-PDA) for 2 lines is $600. Now take in the fact of retail store costs, customer care, Programs that need IT depermant suppport 24 hours a day $$$$$. It should seem reasonable for it to take at least 22 months before customers are able to recieve discounts on another phone. Sprint has to stay affloat to bring you better service faster networks, an...
