HTC - Touch Pro

My 2-year Sprint contract is up September 30th. I want a touch phone with a key pad. The HTC Touch Pro seems to be the only thing that Sprint has. Does anyone know when the Touch Pro will be out? Is there another phone that you know of besides this one?
Thanx..... 😁

dumbest known issue ever!!!

check this out... when you are sending a text message on an instinct and you typ in the word "microbrew" your phone locks up and will not unlock until the phone automatically turns itself off.
i've had to deal with this issue twice today and each time i had to inform the customer that it is a known issue and we are working on it.
try explaining to a customer that the reason there phone shut down is beacuse they typed in the word "microbrew"!

Instinct MR-3 Software Update

We updated the demo phone and the browser is a whole lot better now. On the phone go to MAIN>SETTINGS>GENERAL>SOFTWARE UPDATE. Give it about 15 minutes. Enjoy. 🙂

Roaming

So what happens if your having a conversation that originated in a Sprint coverage area but then moves into a roaming area?
Do you lose you're phone call and have to redial?
Dose the hand off occur without a hitch?

Curve 8330

What does everybody think of the Curve 8330 from Sprint? I have Nextel and have the 7100i and it is very very slow on the internet. Just wanted to know how the service was with this phone. The salesperson from the store said that Sprint, Verizon and Alltel share towers and it is a ton better than Nextel. I was thinking of checking out AT&T also, but wanted to get thoughts on this.

Used My New Moto Renegade in Dalton, Ga.

Even though the Sprint coverage map shows no EVDO coverage, my Direct Connect and high speed services worked like a top. I guess they need to update their maps.

Hey Homeslice

Did you get your plan figgerd out yet?
I was thinking, with 7 lines.. how many minutes do you NEED?
You could do 2 different share plans, like 2 sets of 1500, or one 1500 and one 3000, and split the lines up according to their usage.

You could get 3000 on 4 lines for 170, then 1500 on the other 3 for 110, making total bill 280.00

3000 talk/message Share for lines 1-4 - 170
1500 talk/message share for lines 5-7 - 110
Plus if you get any work discounts, that would be a big discount on that big of a plan, so where do you work?

With that, you wouldnt need to bother worrying about roam, LD, or pictures.. the TM plans come with text/pic/video mail.

Let us know, you seem like a legit customer who needs assistance, not just someone c...

Activation

Why is it so hard to activate different phones with Sprint?
I walked into a local Sprint store to swap phones. Holy crap! 3 hours later I walked out and my new phone still didn't work!
Oh and I was able to manually activate a phone on mysprint.com once. Now it says I have to call customer service if I want to swap phones again.

I am not sure if it's the same deal just like the one for Instinct.

I don't want to be force to change my plan my backup phone M1 is still working fine.

Thanks

I wanted to ask for some advise..

Hi, I had a question I have been interviewing with Sprint the past week and half. I have met with different store managers... I am a well educated individual with years of experience in customer service and wireless retail... I like to think, and believe that I am one of those people that install an impression they won’t forget... I tend to stand out in the things that I do and even the way I express myself among my friends, family. I am not sure as to what are the characteristics and personal attributes that Sprint would be looking for. I find myself to be a well round speaker, performer, and a real optimistic person. I excel in situations that I find challenging and rewarding, I know that I am not naive to believe when I can say that ...

ESRP vs ERP vs Sprint changing the progam without telling anyone

It used to be if you paid $7.00 your got ESRP and ERP both individually $4.00 but combined on sale for $7.00. I know the ERP would cover if the phone is lost, wet, or broken in 3 or more places and it would go to Assurion for a claim. ESRP would cover pretty much everything else. I have had a broken screen on my phone before and they have fixed me in the store. When I bought the service I was told that unless it was lost/stolen, broken in three or more pieces, wet, or showing the motherboard that I could take it back to a sprint store and they would cover it with this TEP (Total Equipment Protection) program which I have used before and it was. Now I am told that effective the 8th of this month they stopped doing that and it would be a ...

HTC Diamond or Wait

I'd love something new and spiffy, wondering to go with the Diamond, try the Instinct, or wait for one of the newer phones coming like the LG Lotus or Diamond Keyboard. Any suggestions?

HTC Diamond Review ...

Please note that this is NOT my review as i have yet to get my anxious hands on this epic device ... just saw in on Yahoo! and thought i would share (patiently patiently waiting 😈 )

I was pretty wowed when I first got some hands-on time with the Diamond back in June, especially after checking out its glorious TouchFlo interface. But after a week with HTC's touchscreen handset, my enthusiasm started to fade. Why? Blame Windows Mobile.

Measuring 4 by 2 by 0.45 inches and weighing in at just 4.1 ounces, the Diamond ($249 on Sprint with a two-year contract) makes for one of the smallest and lightest Windows Mobile-powered handsets on the market—certainly much smaller than last year's bulky HTC Touch.

The Diamond is gorgeo...
