I entered into a one year service agreement with Sprint in 12/06 with two phones on a family plan. In July of '07 one of the phones was stolen. I went to a Sprint store and asked them what my options were. The guy there told me I could purchase a new phone for $300 or I could put a third line on my existing plan. I opted to put on the third line. He did inform me that this third line would have a 2 year contract, thus expiring in July '09. I agreed to that. He also told me to call Sprint and have the stolen line suspended, which I did. My husband now has a new job and he does not have any reception where he works. Which is better? I really like the red Samsung Rant but the LG Lotus has better reviews? Ok, for those of you who use, depend, or like your camera on your Samsung m800/Instinct, PLEASE DO NOT install the new software. The new software disables the camera.
For those of you who have installed the new software, take the Instinct to a corporate, full service and repair, Sprint store, and have the tech install the previous software through ICSS.

Any chance that Sprint gets in on this? I always thought Sprint would have bought out Alltel (back before the Nextel disaster) and apparently Scott Ford tried to buy Sprint thrice. Maybe Sprint will purchase some spectrum?

Apparently a broadcast e-mail was sent out today at 11:28am from KD to the entire RT letting everyone know about another VSP initiative by Sprint. The funny thing is Retail Store Manager and their employees as well as Administrative and Executive Assistantd are not eligible for participation for VSP so what the Hell did KD sent it out to everyone in RT? That is just FUBAR to say the very least. Anyone from PS who works for Sprint wish to pitch in their two cents? I imagine if not enough Sprint employee participate in a VSP, an ISP will start. At least any ISPs to happen won't commence until after the New Year.

My sisters Treo 755p got wet, will assurion replace it with another 755p? The centro is way too small and crappy, and she needs Palm OS. ☹️

I've noticed that if you select 'Powersource' on Sprint's coverage tool there are now areas of gray, indicating roaming.
I know powersource phones use Sprint's PCS network for voice & data and the iDEN for direct-connect.
So what part of the phone is roaming in these areas?
I assume the Sprint PCS side, but then who else provides 1900MHZ in these roaming areas for Powersource phones?

Anyone have any idea how to do this? The only thing I've seen is a program with a subsciption called Mark/Space or something.

going to start really trying to point out that wimax is going to make these 3g services look like dial up? I just started looking at this technology and while it is extremely limited in market i am very impressed by its capabilities (9.2 Mb/s vs. evdo @ 1.5 Mb/s or so)

I could design a better marketing scheme once it rolls out then the NOW network they're trying to sell us (which is better than the last "Power Up" campaign believe me) how would you market this?

I'd start off with an old folks home and have a nurse wearing a shirt that says EVDO on it serving food to all these old people's shirts that say 3G on it and then a hot model comes in wearing a shirt that says XOHM on it... i dunno... we could have the xohm girl... a model to...

You think everyone is just now experiencing 3G, 4G is where it's at. downloads speeds tested and proven approx 4mb-7mb, uploads ranging up to 3mb. All I have to say is if you like true speed, no waiting to get from A to B, then come on, get with the program!

Witch one is louder, has better voice quality?

I've been having issues with replacement 595u cards were the msl doesnt match once we have tried to activated. I have also used the one time lock code and six 0's but nothing works.



Anyone else know a fix for this?
