Ok need help with the LG Lotus...

Anybody know how to set the ringer to default for all the contacts instead of going through every single contact and changing it to the default ringer? I updated the firmware already but really would appreciate some help with this. Thanks.

My Advice For Those Who Want to Have the Best Sprint Experience Possible

Simply put, get Sprint (Nextel) products (Powersource, QChat) under a Corporate account (if possible).

Also, only use legacy Nextel stores (usually repair centers) when taking the phone in somewhere. The Nextel side of Sprint has remained, for the most part, solid in terms of satisfying customers and taking care of their needs correctly.

Even if you don't want or need DC, the above mentioned phones can work without Direct Connect being activated, and you still are considered a "Nextel" customer.

If you can get a corporate account, the best number for fast, efficient problem solving is 1-800-390-9545. In 5 years, I've never waited longer than 3 minutes to get my call answered, even under Sprint ownership.

Need Help! Former Employee

I have a interesting problem. I am a former employee of Sprint and have one of the SERO plans for $15 and the line I have is eligible for an upgrade. How do I get the upgrade since I have to use I-Connect to preform the change or go to Reston, VA. It's a 500 F&F Plan with unlimited data and texting. Would I lose the plan if I bought a HTC Pro and did just a simple ESN Swap? Not sure I have a way around getting a discount on the phone, but just thought I would ask if I could get my hands on one.

New Towers

Do you think Sprint will pick up any of the towers that Verizon has to give up in the merger with Alltel. I was told were their services overlap they have to give up towers.

the first lady i could barely understand thru her ghetto accent. anyway, i explain the issue to her. she clicks around a lil bit then says she has to transfer me to advanced tech support. then hangs up.

so i call back. explain to the next rep whats going on. get his employee number. he also says i need to talk to advanced support then proceedes to hang up on me.

ok so now im pissed. my customer is standing at my mall kiosk and is getting madder every time he sees me call back and and explain everything yet again.

Question for BB users or sprint employees

I have a BB curve. On the BB messenger you get a D next to the message when its been delivered and an R when its been read by the other person. Well all of a sudden starting today I have gotton this D when I send messages. It doesn't happen on all messages but every 10 messages or more. Also, its not to one particular carrier that this is happening. It has happened to someone with Sprint, ATT and even Cricket. I have no problems with text messaging, I was just wondering what this was about?

Secondly, I have been having a problem with my browser and multiple pages I visit. When I launch the browser and visit a page it takes a while for it to load (if it even does), more than a minute and the progress bar at the bottom fills really quickly ...

Help Please Picture Mail w/out the Internet

๐Ÿ‘€ I have the $99 family package with out the INTERNET. I was told that I can use picture mail(mobile to mobile), and this doesn't have anything to do with the INTERNET. Now I am getting casual data usage charges? I have called in and talked to 5 different people and I have gotten 5 different answers. I don't need the INTERNET, but picture mail is something that I would like. Can I use this without the INTERNET? Why would they have a package that offers unlimited picture, text and video mail, and then trick me into paying INTERNET usage? Please help....

Tech Support - Thank You

I just want to thank the ladies at the TS who helped me with the data issue I had with my Touch Pro.

Those of you who bought your Touch Pro at BestBuy know that some of the units have defective speaker. Mine was in the same boat and I returned it to get a new one. The phone was activated but not the data. I did not realize it until late Wednesday night.

On Thursday morning I checked the device info and noticed the Phone Number was wrong (000-000-2024) , same for the Current UserName ([email protected])

So I called, explained it to the CS who transferred me to a TS for assistance. The TS helped me reconfigured the device. After spending an hour on the phone between the CS, two TS and hold time, they were able to make the data work...

? for the Sprint faithful

Hello Sprint employees! My question is that if you cancel your service but decide that you want to come back. Do you have to resign up and pay the ETF or can you just get the old account activated. I cancelled my laptop card 2 weeks ago but now I am going through withdrawal lol! Thanks in advance for your help ๐Ÿ™‚

massive phone issue, grounds for ETF waive?

So i have a q9, been with sprint for about 2.5 years now. Renewed in April.

Yesterday, i learn i've been missing text messages (and apparently many phone calls, but i can't recreate that part) from a handful of business partners.

Bottom line is, i missed out on about 15 sales. Enough to pay for the ETF, six months of service and a round of beers on my current sero plan.

Sprint simply says "take your phone to a repair center. we're not waiving the fee"

is this avoidable? this one occasion is enough for me to switch (I currently work for Cricket, and have only kept sprint because of my Sero plan and the EVDO data which we now have)

Instinct vs. Curve?

Alright so I just got the Instinct about 2 weeks ago, but I'm thinking about taking it back and getting the Curve. The touchscreen is nice and all but for me, it's not all that it's cracked up to be. Question is, between the Instinct and the Curve, which one is better and why?

Can Sprint make a comeback?

I have been reading through much of the information, the disputes and the arguments across the forum boards and I wanted to start a friendly discussion.
Sprint Nextel currently stands in Third for Subscribers in the nation. At one point in time, they were (seemingly) ahead.
With the new direction that the CEO is taking Sprint, and some of the adjustments (dare I say improvements) being made seem like a positive step forward. From an objective standpoint, how much damage has been done to Sprint's reputation due to the Sprint Nextel Merger, Sprint's poor customer service ratings and the overall past few years? And what impact will the steps that the company is having really make in an industry dominated by the two overwhel...

Instinct Calendar

I recently purchased an Instinct through Sprint with insurance. I had problems with the touch screen locking up so got a replacement. Sprint gave me a refurbished phone that had belonged to "Kevin" and it kept updating to his information and therefore disabling my phone as my account did not match his phone (but that is another story). With both phones, I have had problems with the calendar. I would set the calendar at a time in the morning when I had an appointment and set the alarm to go off "1 hour before". The alarm would never go off. I have also had this same problem with "10 minutes before". I am wondering if others have had this problem and if this is a glitch in the phone itself or if getting a new one will solve the problem. ...
