Sprint Losing the Cable Joint Venture

I, for one, AM GLAD! 😁 I despise cable TV.

Cable TV, audio cassettes, and Betamax all rank about the same in my book.

Truth or Fiction? Roaming in Midtown Manhattan?

I have a Blackberry 8830 with Sprint.

I notice that whenever I am in Midtown Manhattan, out in the street, my phone roams to the Verizon Wireless Network.
I called customer Service and she said that roaming in NY is normal.
Normal in New York City?

I asked her to update my roaming list and she said there was no way to do that unless I took it into a store. WTF?

Rev A Coverage

Do the coverage maps on Sprint.com show RevA coverage? The map for my area, zip-code 37312, only shows broadband and 1Xrtt.

Thanks in advance for any help! 🙂

Someone fill me in real quick

Ok so I'm retarded. The only other cell service I have had was Cincinatti Bell. Which I might point out was a great service. And let me tell you, if they keep their policy the way it is now, no contracts and great service, and go Nationwide, all the other carriers will have a run for their money. But I digress, the issue I am asking about is the Voice command. My phone is capable of using the Voice command option of me pressing a button on my Bluetooth and I am able to say "call home" and it calls my house. With the issuance of not allowing Voice command on the phones, will this stop working for me? I mean this feature works great for when I am driving. Please let me know. And yes, I do expect alot of you to say what a retard I am for asking...

New HTC phones for sprint with VGA!!!

No one really knows whether HTC's May 6 gathering will usher in the age of Android (our guess is still "no"), but let's look a little beyond that, shall we? We've just laid eyes on a handful of documents detailing HTC's efforts to ready the Diamond and Raphael models -- already known to be valid HTC codenames -- for Sprint later this year, and things are definitely looking up in the post-Touch world. The Diamond turns out to be the successor to that very device, lacking a physical keyboard and relying almost exclusively on a large, glossy touchscreen for user input; the Raphael meanwhile (pictured) features a full QWERTY deal and is destined to replace the Mogul. The paperwork's pretty blurry, but it appears that both Windows Mobile devices ...

Motorola Q question - Help - Please PLEASE!!!

First let me thank you for any help.

I bought the Motorola Q from a co-worker of mine and I've noticed this annoying beep like every 30/40 minutes. To me it reminds me of a battery going low alert, but the battery is full. I've turned off all alerts except for "New Text Message" and "New Voicemail". Is there another alert I'm missing....

Maybe that's why she sold it to me.....Thanks!!

Looking for Mogul programs

I finally got the mogul on Friday and I've been trying to deck it out, I've already did the Rev. A update and synced it to my work computer, but I'm looking for two things to make it work better.

1. Video codec/player that will play youtube/myspace videos, I downloaded TCPMP, but I can only use it to view downloaded videos, I want something that will allow me to view web based videos, or figure how to set TCPMP as my standard video player.

2. A program that will make it so I don't have to program my voice to do voice activated dialing, kinda annoying.

Simply Everything Plan Question

For the Simply Everything Plan, do you have to do a 2 year contract? If you was to pay full retail price for the phone, could you get the plan without being on contract or at least do a 1 year contract? Also, if your company gets a discount with Sprint, it doesn't apply to the Simply Everything Plan correct? Thanks

Any Word on how well the new simply everrything $99 plan is selling

Just curious if you employees have heard any numbers. Once a plan like that gets down to $60 that would be awesome.
