Would I be able to get into I Tunes with the Q and purchase/listen to songs? I have a Apple computer and it seems like I have to find a program for the Q that would be compatible with the Apple.

I still can't figure out how to do this on my PC, anyone? Oh btw go to google and get the free dowload of google maps, the GPS tracking is disabled, unless you have a bluetooth moto GPS locator device which cost extra. But other than that it is sweet. I LOVE THIS PHONE, so far.

I've been reading a large volume of information and POV (point-of-views) although I have noticed the lack of reference towards the version of Windows Mobile USCC has chosen with the Q.

With Mobile 6.0, the interface with Exchange 2007 is awesome. I certainly trust USCC has embraced Mobile version 6.0.

Will this version also have WiFi capability allowing to access wireless hot spots?

Will the IE Browser be active?

I just purchased my first cell phone. It’s a Samsung a870. I didn’t sign up for easy edge from US cellular because I have internet at home. I see all of these free ringtones available but not sure how to get them on my phone.

I see I can get a data cable to connect to the usb port of my computer but not sure what software I need to download to the phone.

Ant suggestions would be appreciated.

Did USCC offer a nationwide plan with 1500 min for 40 a month? He said he got it about a year ago....I find it hard to believe that.....

Thou I have been here for years, it still amazes me how far behind the 8-ball USCC is in phone releases. And…let not jump on the “phones are tested longer” bull crap. We all know this is not true.

USCC would gain a much better market share, and win back many customers if they just jump in once in a while and get a new cool phone before someone else did, or at the very least, the same time.

I have recently heard from a reliable source that Verizon Wireless is trying to make out a deal to buy out U.S. Cellular.. they have been trying to buy out U.S. Cellular for ages but have never came to a deal that USCC actually agreed to..so my question is that have any of you heard of Verizon buying out U.S. Cellular..i really hope this deal goes through because Verizon has just about the biggest network in the country 🙂

Anyone heard anything on this phone or have any guesstimates ? I am in need of a new phone badly. Thanks guys.

Well, I went to columbus, Ne again last night. I will say the service was better this time around, so I will assume that USCC was having tower issues last week.

With that said, if I was living in that area of Nebraska, I would go with alltel. Alltel stll has better service. But if the free incoming minutes is a big thing for you, then go with USCC, it works, just does not have as strong of a signal as Alltel does.

Anyway, just wanted to be fair and report that the service was a lot better this time around, and it must have been USCC was having tower issues that night, because that night there was no signal or very weak from columbus to fremont, not the case last night. Hopefully it continues. 🙂

On USCC's Coverage Map, it shows that most of the US is covered by there service. But after comparing it to other carriers (Verizon, Sprint, At&t) it showed MORE coverage than any of them. But while on a trip to Cleavland (From St. Louis) I was roaming most of the way and during my time in Cleavland. So why do they say its THEIR coverage? (I have a national plan, btw)

Also, if I make a call in a roaming area, does that cost me minutes no matter what time it is or if its incoming?

I know its not the stores fault, or the reps...but i went in today to look at new phones, and they guy was like we just got the q...look...blah blah...so i played with it for a sec, and wanted one...so hes like "Can't till the 26th"

I dont think they should have a live demo, if i cannot buy it...thats dumb...

I currently have AT&T and Us Cellular.

The reason I have 2 is because of at&t's data speed.

I want to either go back to US CELLULAR for it all or go to helio. I HATE cingular/at&t because they basically nickle and dime you.

Ive had sprint/t-mobile and don't really like them. Personal Opinions.

I know helio runs off of sprint, but they have fetures im interested in.

Is at&t's data speed any better than last year? I do some surfing, aka Myspace/PhoneScoop/Yellowpages And like to get my POP3 email every.

This might be a dumb question...but...can you protect your motorola q from viruses the same as you do you laptop?

I hope US Cellular is going to improve their service in Nebraska. Our carrier used to roam on alltel in nebraska and had great service, but now they chose to put us on US Cellular, and service is not so great any more. Basically if you go north out of Norfolk on 81 to hwy 20 and head towards sioux city, you have weak signal and dropped calls all the time, where alltel, had full signal pretty much all the way to the hills on hwy 20. I know this area is not a big population area, but they are 2 major highways for nebraska and US Cellular does not have them covered very well, need a lot of improvement.
