I was looking at the specs of the Razr2...Does US CELLULAR now have Rev=0 EVDO. Because in the Razr 2 description and it definitly says EVDO.

When ever I transfer videos to my Moto Q they're always like 1"x 1/2" even if I'm playing it on full screen. They fill the screen on my computer, they're 352x240pixel mpegs. WHAT am I doing wrong, any ideas

will a GOOD phone come to USCC?! 😡

Ive been with us cellular for four years and it's a great company but the worst phones. I was wondering are any good phones coming out I really need a new phone but nothing is out there can anyone help

Does anyone here know if there will be a phone sale that will offer phones like razrs or razr2's for 2 year contract prices for people that are in the middle of there 2 year contract for christmas this year?...i have a strobe right now and hate it and i was wanting a razr2 really bad...did they do this last year?

Perhaps I am showing my age, but I don't understand many poster's obsession with phones. I read about how upset people are with USCC because they aren't the first to offer the latest phone model. People have stated that they are going to leave USCC because they don't offer a particular phone.

Aren't calling plans and coverage more important?!?

I asked this in the Alltel board so might as well continue in this forum as well especially since US Cellular is a competitor of Metro/Leap and Alltel.

The lead is like this; 1. ATT; 66 million. 2. VZW; 65 million. 3. Sprint; 53 million. 4. T-mobile 28 million. 5. Alltel; 12 million. 6. Metro/Leap; 7 million and 7. US Cellular; 6 million.

So what is your view?

if you are reporting that US Cellular is getting bought out by Verizon I would slow down with that statement especially since it could be inside information and that person/people could be in trouble. I urge the person who is continuing to say this to stop.

With regarding any buyout. The most important thing that a buyout has to happen is if there are any prospects to the buyout. If also there will be synergies. Obviously private equity or a strategic buyer could be looking at this company especially since other companies like Alltel have been bought out and the recent acquisitions by Verizon and Cingular. By $2500 per subscriber and the 6 million US Cellular has it values the company at $15B.

What do you think US Cellular has to offe...

US Cellular has been a nightmare. Attempted to cancel my contract early without the fee because of a contract change and the following, but was rejected. How do they prosper with such bad service? In January 2007, a family emergency required us to spend several weeks in a part of the country that would normally incur roaming charges. This was unanticipated at the time we signed our most recent contract with USCC, and it was a one-time event, not an ongoing need. As USCC's roaming charges of $.69/minute seem excessive, and impractical for anything more than occasional use, we called and asked if there was some sort of package to allow us to buy (and even prepay) roaming minutes at a lower cost. Hi everyone-

A couple of tips for new Q owners:

1. I wanted a really slim case for it, which USCC does not sell. The Verizon store sells a silcone skin for it that fits very snugly and adds little bulk so that you can put it in your pocket. I think a 2 pack was 12.99. I love them. They really protect it nicely. I recommend getting some screen protecters as well. I bought the Fellows ones at Best Buy. You can cut them to size.

2. I am a Blackberry user at work, and one thing I have gotten used to is holding down a key for an extra second to get a capital letter. The Q does not do that. Mobihand.com has some software that is only 7.95 that adds this enhancement and a whole bunch of others that the Blackberry doesn't have. There is als...

does anyone know when the razr2 or the rokr comes out???? i heard some people say december and others say within 30 to 40 days ..... any info?

What will US Cellular restrict in this phone. It took until the Krzr and the modified Razr phones to allow us to download mp3's which in turn allowed us to make our own ringtones.

With the Q coming out, will it be full internet service? Can we use the Q as a mp3 player and if so will they allow ua to use a data cable without restrictions.

I love US Cellular's phone packages as well as the service. I'll sacrifice the fact that the phones that they have are introductory phones that other companies had two years ago.

I just want to be able to use all of the features of the phone that I choose. If they polled customers, they would find that we want calls and amenities. They should concentrate on what Easy edge offers instead of restric...

USCC will launch EV-DO Rev. A Network Wide by Christmas.
