Question for the corporate people

I'm trying to get a job with corporate. I've done the applications online. Is it worth going to talk to managers in the store? I got the impression that the hiring process is handled through the human resources department. Any advice on getting a job?

Get on the stick, Verizon!

I am anxiously awaiting for Verizon to come to Charlottesville, Virginia, sometime in the 2009/2010 time frame. If anyone out there has any updates as to how soon I can get rid of my current carrier and move over to the best there is, I would appreciate it.

Phonebook Bluetooth Transfer - VX8600

Does anyone know if you can transfer the phonebook using bluetooth on the LG VX8600? I just put a new CD deck in my car that supports bluetooth and phone calls, but I can't figure out how to upload the phonebook. Every time I set the CD deck to do that, the connection is broken. I know that some LG phones have the capability to do it, but I don't know if the VX8600 is one of them. Does anyone know? And if it does support the phonebook transfer via bluetooth, what am I doing wrong? I don't want to go through and manually enter my entire phonebook using the little knob on the deck. That would suck. Any help/advice is appreciated.

Well...any advice other than: "Switch to AT&T!" AT&T may work in Romania, but it doesn't work whe...

Verizon wireless surcharge

Okay, it appears many of you work for Verizon or in the industry, so maybe you can help me with this.
I have been a verizon customer for years. Just put the rest of my family on a select plan of 3000 minutes at $179 a month. That is four lines total (two included and two at $10 per line). For my first bill the verizon surcharge was $87! That is 48.6% of my plan cost! Went back to look at my old bills and I was being charged about 19% of my plan fee. Went back and looked at my wifes Sprint family plan surcharge and it was only $9--or .05% of her plan fee. If anyone has knowledge of the formula for these fees I would appreciate your insight. Thanks for your time.

Thinking about joining the ranks......

Ok so I am ending my employment with Sprint and probably my service as well. I'm thinking about signing up with Verizon.

I currently use a Blackberry Pearl and I really like it but I don't think I'll be using data services enough to justify the $30 data pack.

I have been looking at the phones Verizon has and I can't seem to decide which one I want. How is the Samsung I760?? It looks as if it would be a good device for me because it has the keypad on the outside as well as the Qwerty keyboard on the slide out. Does anyone have some feedback on this phone or others which seem to work well?

JAWBONE USERS READ THIS

The black Jawbone sold at the verizon store is
different internally from the At&t black jawbone.
THey have different "firmwares" programmed into them.
I emailed Aliph and they confirmed.
The At&t Jawbones are optimized for GSM phones.

The Verizon jawbone is Optimized for CDMA phones.
The reason is the GSM Jawbones had bad echos when used on CDMA phones, so they made a different firmware for CDMA phones.

ALSO
The Black Verizon Jawbone is not compatible with the following phones

-Motorola Q- (black or silver model)
even if you update the phones software with
motorola software updater

-LG VX8300-

-HP iPaq-

"Well it didnt work, didnt work how? "

I purchased the black jawbone from a verizon stor...

Just had my last interview...

With the store manager at the Kiosk in Circuit City. Pending a drug/background check I will become a sales consultant for Verizon. I got burnt out of being an Indirect Agent. I just thought I would share my little story.
