Ok I have been patient but I think I have reached the end of my rope.
I am on my 4th LG VX 8700 in 2 months and this one is no better. You cannot turn the volume up all the way without the phone's ear piece getting very distorted and sounds like it is cracked.

1. How do I get someone to give me a different phone to use? I really love the look of the phone but I find that I hate talking on it because of the tinny and usually distorted sound.

2. What would a comparable phone be considered? I don't want them to give me some POS Samsung or Generic phone.

Opinions? This is not like me to do this but I am really frustrated. I've even resorted to switching ESNs back to my old RAZR v3m just because the sound is better but that defeat...

I am not a business user. I mainly use my phone to make calls and text and I don't need it to be an MP3...I have one of those. But I think it would be cool to be able to surf the web from my phone and maybe have access to my email. I pay about 136$ for a family share with nationwide mins and unlimited texting. My question is price wise would it be worth it to have the ability to get internet and email...or should I stick to my laptop for the occasional browsing and emailing. Thanks

Does Verizon plan on lowering the price on those data plans?

I have a BB 8830 and before this I had the 8703 can anyone tell me what the problem might be. I work in an area that is supposed to have coverage and on both BB's I have had I will not get notification someone called like a missed call. the caller tells me that when they called the phone rang then it went to my voice mail. But I never get notification of the voice mail until later that day like several hours later. I have done the *228 and that is always up to date. I have the new software on the 8830. Is it just BB's that have this problem or is it the network?

Do I need to go back to a regular non PDA/BB phone?

First.. Has Customer Service been outsourced.. They are soooooo nice.... But, they don't even know and can't even explain the plans anymore.. And, if you have an issue, the reply is duhhhhh...

Have you noticed.. Voicemails sometimes aren't delivered for hours... Sometimes, the next day..

Have you noticed.. Dropped calls..

Have you noticed.. Send, but, no connect..

Have you noticed.. Voice quality has slipped... ATT now blows VZW away... VZW just blows..

I've read in two places so far that the new every 2 credit is only 50 on plans btwn 34 and 79. I'm positive though that when I signed up I was told that my new every two credit would be 100 dollars. So what is the case?

My plan is a little more than 50/month right now.I signed up in april 06 and apparently I'm up for new every two in december, which I need since my razr crapped out completely after lasting not much longer than a year.

I've been really happy with my Motorola 325 but after almost 2 yrs it is beginning to have issues so need to replace. I hike in remote area so want something durable and with great reception. Verizon is offering Motorola W385 and LG 5300(which has analog)
Any suggestions on pros and cons of either?!

I plan on using my I760 with an aviation progam, WingX. It has an option to use a bluetooth GPS receiver for some of the applications. I talk to a rep. at www.buygpsnow.com about which receiver to purchase. He told me that the I760 has a bug / defect that will not allow it to work with Serial Port Protocal devices like bluetooth GPS'.

Any tech guys/gals with VZW with any insight...PLEASE HELP!

I was trying to upgrade my phone (eligible for upgrade, and secondary line on family plan) to a pearl, when i ran into few intresting things. First the price was the same for 1year and 2 year, 249.99 each. That did not make sense at all as i thought it was supposed to be less. So how much should i be paying?

My next question is about the new blackberry plans that just came out. What the diffrence between the 29.99 and teh 44.99 plan?

I tried to contact verizon wireless, but speaking to their representatives is liking speaking to no one. So if someone can give me some more info, it would be highly aprreciated.

Is there any new info on the online preorder date for the LG Venus and if it still is going for $249 with 50 dollar rebate. This isn’t totally unexpected, no? Sprint Nextel’s earning came out, and they reported a 77% drop in profit, while also cutting forecasts for next year. They’ve lost the most subscribers this quarter since 2005, maybe longer. Their third-quarter net income turned out to be only $64M! How many customers did they lose exactly? 337,000, and that is "the most since it bought Nextel Communications Inc., amid complaints about dropped calls and poor reception." We guess they couldn’t get Gary out soon enough…

My friends at VZW got theirs today and they are telling me it's going to release on the 8th..

I am so psyched.

Do VZW and Sprint roam off each other in the New England area or anywhere else?

I am wondering what Verizon direct employees make hourly. Does it vary with experience? Whats the commission rate? I have worked for AT&T for 3 years now, manager for 1 1/2... would someone venture a guess on what I might be offered? If someone could respond quickly, I would appreciate it.

Anyone notice that each time the new quarter numbers come out that the stupidest of the Trolls come back? Like Beachslaped and LLcooljake?
