A few questions...

1. What is this that I hear the new moto products will not accept regular USB cables?

2. Any new phones on the horizon with a usb charge port/qwert keyboard? I really would like the samsung qwert if they had usb.

3. Am i the only one who cares about the charging port? When are they going to make accessories uniformed? it would cut down waste and make everyhting alot more easier

IN DEBATE VOYAGER OR VENUS

I think the Venus is the perfect phone for me. But the Voyager is like wow. But the thing for me I will not use the phone for email, internet or media flo or any of that other fancy stuff. Although, the qwerty kewboard is great I am just wondering if I should go with my gut feeling the Venus or go out on the limb and choose Voyager. If anyone can help it it would be greatly appreciated. 😎

acss.net

Anyone got the training on it yet?? It almost makes me dizzy to look at it, with the colors and top view is just crammed with so much stuff.

I haven't had the training, but it's on my computer at work so I opened it up to poke around.

Anyone like it/hate it?

transferring phonebook to lexus--one at a time?

There's got to be a way to transfer the entire phonebook rather than one contact at a time to my lexus from my Motorola Q. If not, what new phones will work this way since I'm due for a new phone anyway!?

Please notate accounts!

My third customer in a week that said, "Customer care said it would notated on my account." and I see NOTHING!

Btw, for grins and giggles, I called on my personal account and asked for something to be notated...I had another rep pull up my account and NOTHING there!

Why can we not do a better job at 1) getting the information correct the FIRST time 2) properly communicating between channels 3) being consistant with policies?

The inconsistancies hurt us. Here is why. You have one customer that you "bend" the rules to assist...even if it is with good intentions...and then that customer tells their buddy, "Hey, Verizon did this for me" and now the buddy wants the same deal. But he may not qualify. If the next rep tells this c...

Sending faxes

Hey everyone,
a friend of me was asking about something that she remember from a while ago - VZW somehow (through the voicemail system) allowed you to send faxes to your cell phone.

I completely forgot about this, but I actually do remember hearing something in the automated greeting similar to: "...To send a fax, press "7" (or some other number).

I've always wondered, how exactly was this possible to send a fax to a cell phone. I don't remember hearing this now, but is it still possible? I don't hear this prompt on the VM system anymore.

Does anyone remember this?

vx 6800

I am a verizon wireless customer and am very disappointed in the new phone release from Verizon. Seems they are always in last place. Seems that ATT , Sprint and Cingular are always ahead of Verizon. I am waiting for release of the replacement for the 6700 smart phone which should be the verizon version of the spring mogul smart phone. Does anyone out there have any idea when the phone will be released and available? 👀

I need a forum that works where I post, like phonescoopengadgetarenahofo!

Anybody like these att commericials? I think they are kind of creative, but also very annoying at the same time, lol.

I just had to make up a name that included all four major phone forums

Pscoop
Engadget
Phone Arena
and Hofo

If you got any other variations, throw 'em out there!

Who in this forum works for Verizon Wireless. And do you work for Direct or Indirect? And what position do you have?

Just wondering

Debating...

I've had the i760 over a month now. Although I do love the phone, there are times when I think it may be too much phone for me. I love the full html browser and wifi. Aside from that, I really don't use any of the other features. I'm debating whether I should put it on ebay, and buy the Voyager.

T-Mobile has more Spectrum than Verizon.

I did not know this, so I figured I'd share with the rest of you....But according to Wom who has done extensive reading on the subject, once the feds release all the spectrum they won, Tmobile will official have more spectrum than verizon 😲 Crazy huh?

Opinions.

alcoholic phone

I've got a Samsung U740.. had I mean. Over the weekend someone bumped into my while I was texting and it fell into my drink.

The only part that got wet was the top bit.. and the screen stopped working, but the keyboard was still lighting up. I tried cutting it off by holding the off switch but it wouldn't cut off..and taking the battery out just slipped my mind.

Anyways.. I ended up taking the battery out a few hours later. I let it dry for a day and put the battery back in. It started up just fine and was loading VCast..and froze. Since then it won't start up at all.

Sometimes when I put the battery in and try to cut it on the only thing that happens is the flash for the camera comes on and stays on.

Now.. I've already...

Looking for professional input

It looks like I may need to buy a new phone. I have not bought one in 6 years (you don't even want to know what I am currently using lol)

Interested in these 4 phones
LG VX-8700, Motorola RAZR2 V9m, Motorola W385, and the samsung gleam.

Just wondering which ones you see returned the most, which receive the most or least complaints

My most important concern is reception and call quality. I am not into texting, pics, but I would really like a slim phone like the ones I listed. I have been to 3 different verizon stores and got 3 completely different answers. I have read all the reviews on these, but I would love to know what a verzion employee sees and hears.

Or is there something new coming out worth the wait, that is similiar ...

Bluetooth and 8350

Hey I am new to Verizon and wanted to ask a question. Why can I not send and recv pictures from another BT enabled device with this phone?? Is it not supported (per everything I have read it is supported)? Are there special drivers and things needed to accomplish this? Many thanks.

Learning This Stuff!

I'm currently employed as a web chat consultant - meaning I'm one of the folks you talk to when you chat with a live person on the website. We are getting plenty of training, but I'm paranoid about these things, I suppose - I'm worried about the amount of knowledge I will retain past training and onto the floor.

For those people who sell Verizon, or those in customer care, could you share with me some ways you've absorbed your knowledge about phones, plans, etc.? I have plenty of resources available, but I'm worried that I will keep customers on the line too long while I hunt for information and I want to keep that from happening.

Thanks in advance;

LH
