straight answers only, pls

had a wise guy bet me $1 mill that he could get a PTT phone active on a non-PTT plan by the end of the day. I told him I wouldn't want to take his money. he told me that I was discriminating against that phone. 🙄

PLEASE let me know if there's any possible way that what he bragged about is possible; from what I've read, it's not, correct?

"unlocked sprint phones"

Let's see. All I am, reading is that you can now take your sprint phone to verizon and/or alltell. My question is, just because you have the info to program the phone for the other network, who SAYS THE OTHER NETWORK WILL ALLOW IT? The outcome of the lawsuit was to allow sprint customers to take there phones and use on other networks, I haven't read anything stating that verizon/alltell had to accept the phones.

What is loyalty credit and whats the difference between that and the quarterly government discount..

...on phones.

Background: I am a current verizon customer since 1995 when they were airtouch, same number but tons of phone upgrades, anyways i just found out my new every two means crap cause i could of gotten a better deal through state/government discount which changes every quarter.
anyways i am due up for my ne2 in march i believe and was thinking of getting a new phone most likely the new voyager or the other touch screen phone. so tell me verizon reps and/or ex workers how can i get the phone as cheap as possible..

VZW issues in Las Vegas NV.

I had a 3 friends who was able to make and receive calls and text messages fine in her home area.
When my friends went to Vegas, they were able to make and receive calls and text messages the 1st day they were there.

Their next 3 days in Vegas, they were unable to receive calls. All of their calls would go directly to voice mail. They were able able to make and receive *text messages and outgoing calls only. (*late text messages)

When she came back to her home area, they were back to receiving incoming calls.

They both have the LG VX-8550 Chocolate. Was there any network issues, LG issue, or possible lemons?

Thanks in advance,
Yean

Verizon to pay $1 million over deceptive "unlimited" EVDO plans

Verizon to pay $1 million over deceptive "unlimited" EVDO plans
By Jacqui Cheng | Published: October 23, 2007 - 10:43PM CT

The case of the limited "unlimited" EVDO has been settled: Verizon has agreed to pay out $1 million to customers that it has terminated for overuse of its high-speed data service. New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo made the announcement today, saying that Verizon's decision came after a nine-month investigation into the company's services and marketing practices. The attorney general accused Verizon of producing misleading materials and deceptive marketing when it claimed that its data plans were unlimited.

The issue came to light last year, when some customers found their accounts on the choppi...

VOYAGER release date??

hi guys i have been looking at the voyager and i am very intereseted in it. does anyone know when it will be released? i know it is a holiday phone, but i heard from a semi-reliable source that it will be released in february...? the last time i checked, the only big holiday in february is valentine's day, and i thought when they said holiday they meant around christmas time. also, does anyone know what the price of it is? i'm guessing around $300 dollars, but that's just my estimate. right now i have an att contract, and i am very displeased with it, so i want to switch over to verizon, but i am waiting for the right phone, and i think i might have found it. does anyone know how much it costs to buy out of a contract? i have asked an employ...

HELP A NOOOBIE.. Americas choice or new national plan

It's time to renew. I would just stay month to month but now I work for a company that gets a VZW discount. Here's the break down.
I have a family plan 4 lines but soon to be 3 (married one off). Next no no texting (soon), the other 3 lines are adults that just use the phone to make/get calls. Very occasional get it now use for ring tones and such. BUT would have occasion to use VZ navigator. So the $64,000.00 question, renew now and stay America's choice or wait til November?
