I'm probably going to get the L7c as I'm not excited about the keys on the LG 8700 and I don't like the interface on the Razr Maxx. I know the Slvr can be flashed to Moto UI, and I plan to after the first 30 days if I REALLY don't like the interface (I know it'll be similar to the Maxx).

I didn't see the Slvr at my local Circuit City location, i haven't looked at the local corporate store.

The Slvr forum here has VERY little activity, that's why I asked in the general VZW forum. Thanks.

Ok heard that VZW is going to unvail an add on unlimited text...somethign that combines it with VCAST...anyone else heard of this??
Also anyone in the know know how the new packages are doing? I would think not so good but......that is just a guess of course...

Hi guys, i have an easypay account and wanted to know if i buy a verizon phone off ebay and given that the esn is valid, will i be able to do a simple esn change over the phone or do i have to go to the store? Thanks, i'm not savvy on verizon's policies yet so sorry for the dumb question.

I gotta give Verizon credit where credit is due.... My sister has Verizon, and she had to make an insurance claim on her phone. Assurion sent her the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen, and when she called to complain, they sent her a "complimentary" faceplate and car charger. Wow. She lived with it for awhile, but within weeks both her phone started malfunctioning, and it got to the point where she couldn't get into the menu on her phone at all. I told her to check with Verizon to see if they had anything they could do to help her, or see if she could upgrade.

She went down to a local Verizon location, and the store advised her she wouldn't be eligible to upgrade until the end of her contract, which was in 3 months. (I didn't underst...

hows the battery life for you? mine can't even make it 24 hours. is it just mine?

Does anyone see the price going down on this phone. Since the new one type S is coming out, I would think the price on the type V would drop another $50.

I was told the next promotion on phones is the 13th, so the price could change then. Since they are discontinuing the phone, it would almost have to drop in price. They also said they have a lot of them left in inventory.

anyone have any ideas....I was really excited about the type S, but with the camera being worse, no SD card slot, and a smaller screen I think I will get the type V. I would love to have the bluetooth, but everything else kills the type S.

except the 8600? frick man...i was purposely waiting another week or so to upgrade my phone (to the 8600) because i was anticipating a price drop over the entire LG line. i think EVERY LG phone was reduced in price EXCEPT the 8600. what a bad beat.

is this a screwup on Verizon's part that could be fixed eminently or is it like i said: a bad beat?

btw, can't do the 8700 because no external music controls and wimpy diplay. i want to lighten the load and not have to deal with any additional mp3 players.

I tried out the new Free VZW Song ID on my 9400. You can e-mail a list of results to your e-mail address, but I noticed that some of the songs showed an album that was either a collection of the artist or various artist and not the original album the song was released on.

ok, i first posted this in the LG forum, but there hasn't been any activity since so i figured this forum would be my next best bet.

anybody know if the 8600 will ever be offered in different colors? it seems after this long it's likely that it won't. would sure help with the finger print issues (although it's really not that big of a concern with me). i'm looking to purchase one very soon and wouldn't mind a selection other than black. no biggie though.

I have a family share plan that I got over Memorial Day last year. We got two Motorola E815s using the online purchase function. The phones have not been great and my wife wants another one. I go online and it says that I can only change the phone if I pay full retail. Does anyone have any other options that I can explore? SHe really wants something different to use.

My phone broke last night and I'm trying to decide between these three. I like the idea of having mobile tv but since I use over 3,000 minutes a month I want to make sure that the 9400 is a good everyday phone and easy to use.

If not, I was going to go with the 8300 but just saw the u540 in the store and really liked it. I'm going to use a bluetooth headset for the first time since I talk while driving a lot. I've heard there are some issues with the 8300 and BT sound quality. I only text about 15 times a month so that is not a big issue.

Need to decide today, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

OK, i am ready to claim my new every two and i am thinking of getting the vx 9400 TV phone. the problem is..i'm not loving the 1.3 camera.

i am convinced that as soon as i buy it i will hear of a new set of vcast TV phones with way better features.

question is do you think the current set of TV phones are here to stay for awhile or that verizon could be rolling more out within the next 2 months?

In gizmodo its hinted that motorola will be unveiling a new innovative device set to precede the iphone..and create the same raze as the razr did when first released....any thoughts...? any leaks...? on what this might be...?

Well, not impressed with the looks of the MAXX, now I hear that another form of the razr is coming out. Apparently Motorola is making some sort of announcement tomorrow from what someone on these boards wrote. Anyone have any more info on pricing, availability date, etc?
