Tisk Tisk...

At&t has some awesome phone and the pricing for voice plans are decent but the pricing for the data/text messaging is ridiculous...too high in my opinion. $35 for unlimited web and text??? 😲

More choices?

What do you all think about ATT and Verizon's choices to not only go with LTE as their 4G choice, but urge the other carriers to follow suit? If a majority of carriers (I know Sprint chose WiMax) follow suit and choose LTE do you think it will "open" the market more and give consumers more choices/options? With carriers going to the "open" network stance, if they are all on the same network, I see that benefiting the customer - more choices, more options, more competitive pricing.

iphone

Our business is currently using Nokia E62's which work great with our exchange server but the phones are terrible. We are thinking about changing everyone over to the iphones but need to make sure they synch with our server and Microsoft Exchange the same way our Nokia's do. I cannot find a definite answer for my question and the store I use has been no help. Is anyone using the iphone and synching with exchange?
Thank you

You know what stuns me....

People complain that companies have no new phones, they have no high-end phones, they don't have navigation, or video or this or that....

But...

When those phones finally come out.... People constantly b***i***t***c***h again and again about how much this new technology costs.... You want a high end phone, you got it (LG VUE) you don't want to pay for it...

Granted phones are expensive, but don't complain once you get what you want.

BB 8820

Quick question if anyone has it, does it work with media net or do you have to have the black berry package? I'm around a wifi connection just about any time I need it and just use media net for occasional weather checks so I just use the ppu. If anyone knows it'd be appreciated.

HTC Home Screen

Has anyone installed the HTC Home Screen on the tilt and if so, how does it work? I have a problem after installing the HTC Home Screen where the Weather doesn't automatically update. I have to manually refresh the weather. Is there a setting or some Registry tweak that needs done where I can have it update automatically?

Thanks in advance

AT&T Reps: BlackJack II with Plug Problem

Hi, It sounds like BJII has a problem with loose charger connection. The phone side plug to the charger seems to lose connection and has to be tapped to re-connect.
Have you guys seen this issue? Would AT&T Follow up with the manufacturer?

Weird GSM problem

Short version:

GSM signals interfere with my computer speakers. It creates a weird static/popping sound whenever I am receiving or sending a call or SMS/MMS. It doesn't matter if the speakers are on or off, but unplugging the speakers is the only way to get the signal to stop the interference. The interference only happens if the phone is actively doing something. If the phone is idle sitting on my desk, there's no problem. Ever heard of this problem? Any idea how to resolve it?

Long version:

My girlfriend had Cingular/AT&T a while ago. Whenever she was in my house, my computer speakers would make a weird static/popping noise. After a few weeks, we figured out that the problem didn't happen when she turned her phone off. I ...

Blackberry Pearl or Curve and Data/Email Plans

Greetings.

I am going to order a Blackberry Pearl or Curve and I wanted to get some feedback from some of you experts on either of these two phones along with what data plans AT&T offers.

I spoke with a rep from ATT today who told me I can get a Pearl for 149.00 with 50 back or a Curve for 249.00 with 100.00 back.

My needs are:

1. Data connect - this is most important. I need and want to be able to use the phone to connect either my laptop or Palm T/X to the net via Bluetooth. The rep I spoke with today told me they have a 50 dollar a month plan for unlimited which I can't seem to find on the data plan page. She said this was a "PDA package". Is this an accurate figure for using either of these phones for a straight conect t...
