I switched over to Cingular/AT&T about a year ago for several reasons: Nicer phones with better UI, rollover, the ability to use all the phone's intended features, plus a hefty discount through my employer. But after a year on this network I'm starting to get really frustrated. The call quality has been really poor lately. Even with a strong signal the call sounds very garbled. The problem is not my phone. I have had this happen with my phone, my son's phone and my wife's phone. My coworkers have noticed it on their phones too. Plus I have noticed a real lack of coverage in general. I was in the lower terminal of the Tampa airport and was not able to make a call. Yet, many people around me coul...

If I wanted to but it.... why? I use my phone for the calender and I like to check e-mail... is this phone good for that? Is there any insurance available for it? If so how much and what does it cover? I just don't know a lot about this phone as far as using it goes and I want to learn. Also is it worth it to wait until this new version comes out in like June? What is new about the one coming out?

No. Seriously. How fast can it get? How good is it compared to EVDO rev. A? I'm considering getting an account when the new iPhone comes out (hopefully in light "carolina tarheels" blue).

Will we see it in April? Any projected MSRP? Will it be able to use the media max $35 feature?

Any info on when it'll become available? I read that it was supposed to hit stores four weeks after the white Centro's release, but apparently it's not out there yet.

OK so I have a question I am so very confused on. I was told that if a customer puts a go phone "phone" on their contract account...at&t will flag their account within 6 months and terminate their contract? Now i was told that is not true by someone i work with...any help will be greatly appreciated 🙂

I have an ANR plan working for an authorized retailer, and as many know we are not allowed to have an iphone on our account, especially when our rep has mentioned that AT&T has been actively auditing ANR accounts and "fixing" them down if they show an iPhone being used.

Now I have heard that if you unlock the iPhone so that it does not require activation through iTunes, that everything "could" be O.K.

So my question is, what is the best way to unlock the iPhone since I am not looking to use it on any other network, just use it without having to activate it using iTunes.

I have been trying to find an unlocked or locked Nokia E90 to purchase with no contract. Please let me know if u have heard anything about it.

and I am moving to ATT.
I LOVE the iPhone, it is pretty neat.
The problem is when i asked the rep if I could have it, they said that all discounts would be demolished on my contract and various other people have said that i would need a certain plan for the iPhone.
This iPhone would be on a family plan, is there ANY way for me to get around this?

So yesterday I sold a blackberry to a customer on an upgrade. As everyone knows it doesn't have insurance. Well she went home and went up in the elevator in her condo and dropped the phone. There is a slot the EXACT thickness of the phone and it just happened to fall down that crack... and bye bye phone. So in this I ask... where can she get a curve for a good price... I got a Nokia 6126 from the at&t go phone website, it was refurb. And it was $20.00, nice deal on a really nice phone...so far i'm in love with it!

I live in rural SE KY (zip code 40965) and have been with AT&T (formerly Cingular) for about 8 years. Is there any way to tell when 3G coverage will come to my area? One AT&T rep told me it will come soon and is past due. Another rep said it will be 1-2 years. Also, is anyone else noticing more network problems than usual? My entire family is now having many more dropped calls (and my sons live in a large city). We are also all experiencing many calls in which the other person can only hear beeping noises. When you redial the call, the connection is fine (unless, of course, it drops). It is very frustrating for my family and me as AT&T customers these days. I have been eligible to upgrade since december!! I normally upgrade the day I'm eligible but there are no phones I want. When is the Motorola Z9 slider coming, or anything half decent? I know I can use an unlocked phone but I don't want to spend an arm & a leg on a phone when I can get a discount on an upgrade.

Are there any stores out there right now that sell everything at&t has to offer. By that I mean wireless, wireline, dsl, and dish?

So i had a customer come in to pay his bill. Than he went off on me about customer service wanting him to charge him 5 dollars to pay his bill through them! I'm really not ready for the customers to start going off on me about this! Has anyone else had a problem?

Currently I have the Mot Razr v3 with a normally rollover minutes plan. I have been interested upgrading to the Blackjack. I wanted to know if I can use the Blackjack with MediaNet instead of the data plan since the price almost double.

my bro friend might give me his Blackjack. Can i just go into my cingular account online and order the MediaNet. Once thats active, i can start surfing the net with the BlackJack?

and what happen if I decide to order the Blackjack from Cingular? will they let me use MediaNet with the phone?

I believe the unlimited medianet package is $19.99 vs the Unlimited Data Plan is $39.99. thats alot when you have to add $40 on top of that from voice plan.

There is a phone on the website for pick your plan that has a discount.

If I were to print it out and bring it into the store, would I be able to get the phone for that price or would I just have to order it online.
