Got the N95 because of 3G lacking on the N82 and was not expecting all that much, I am glad to say 3G has exceeded my expectations. Its plenty fast.

Kudos to ATT for the technology and Nokia for taking the ultimate advantage of it.

Next two months, every phone on AT&T will be 3G, says AT&T.

Guess that lovely 3G iPhone is around the corner!

Will an original "blue" ATTWireless SIM card work in a modern phone (for sake of illustration, say, the Nokiea N82, N95, or LG Shine CU720)?

Anyone having problems with making calls? I just switched over from Cell one and for the last 3 days everytime I try to call someone on the At&t network, its saying;' call can not be completed as dialed" or it goves me a fast busy signal. Now im in a profession where people call me on my cell anytime. I cant have this! Anyone know whats going on? i called my local store and they said towers were being worked on and had no idea when this would stop. Now i just got these phones on Saturday March 22...if this continues I might have to cancel the whole account. If I do, will I get subject to charges for cancelling?

Ok, I would put this on the Verizon board but they would kill me.

My Verizon contract is up in July. I would like to get out of it in now or at least in June when the 3G or the Enterprise Iphone software is released.

Any ideas on how to do it without paying the service? Tell you the truth I probably need to switch before that because my crappy Q phone is dieing.

Can I switch now to ATT, get a Blackjack, and then by an Iphone in June with no additional cost? If I can do that, I may switch today, if I could get out of my contract withe V. Then give the Black Jack to my wife.

I was always under the impression that it was imperative to have a 850mhz capable cell phone to use in the US. I knew that it would work, but only in the 1900mhz areas, but I just came across this: http://www.gsmworld.com/cgi-bin/ni_map.pl?cc= us&net=be and if I understand that correctly 1900 has the same if not more coverage in the US.

I read that south american countries are the only ones who use soley 850 can anyone talk more about that?

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knows any of the specifics about the lg vu. Im looking for a new phone and i really love the Verizon voyager but i am an at&t customer. I know that the lg vu is comparable but i was wondering if it also flips open to a full qwerty keyboard?

Why does AT&T feel the need to cripple their phones by locking the capability to use full mp3's are ringtones and alerts. Seriously does a huge company making billions need the $1.99 for ringtones. I can make my own and and place them on the phone but its the idea that a huge company criples their phones to rape customers of even more money. Seriously if a car manufacture locked the stereo feature or locked the car speed to 45 miles per hour no one would buy the damn car. For a company so worried about customer satisfaction they sure do stupid things. I could understand on cheap phones but when you pay a 2 year contract and 100.00 cash out of pocket for a phone you want all the options not the waterdown version that the guy working at M...

I am still on the original (2002, i think) ATT Wireless GSM Unlimited Charter Plan --- there was never a reason to change! However, ATT is now offering a new Unlimited Voice Plan, and it seems as if this plan is an equivalent plan, so there may still not be any reason to change or "upgrade".

Does any one have any related experiences (recently upgraded from the original to the new unlimited plan) or rationale for doing so?

Yesterday I spent two hours on the phone with ATT. I have a blackjack I, running win mo 6. I got the error when trying to connect to anything which required data usage, "The remote party has ended the connection." After 12 powercycles, 5 different reps, 1 hangup, a hard reset they decided to give me a warranty exchange. So I am without data until I get a new (refurbished...) phone. The agents were very nice and I am certain they were trying to do all they can but, none of them seemed to know what causes the problem. It worked fine before, no plan changes or anything like that. No sim swaps...etc. Does anyone know what could cause this? And does anyone know the direct number to tech support? I spent 75% of the two hours with regular cust care...

A friend of mine has a BB Pearl without a data plan. Can anyone else confirm this being a possibility from ATT? I am a current USCC customer and was told there is no way they can give me a pearl without the plan. Thank you for your help.
