F***EN REDONCULOUS

ok so i went to an at&t cor store on may 2nd to go buy the lg vu. ok so there i was getting ready to holding it in my hand when all of a sudden they tell they dont know how much it costs. im like wtf. so your selling a phone but your not selling it? does that make any sense. so they tell me come back on the may 4th bc thats the day the mobile tv or cellular tv launches and thats the day we'll have a price. so i go and they say "um yeah um we still dont know how much it costs so we cant sell it to you. but we do have this great nokia 6555 that we could sell you"

verizon so called 30day refund policy.another scheme by the dark empire..

so there so called 30day trial period states you could get a full refund if you return anything withing 30days.. what they do not tell you is that if you want to exchange your phone for a different model within 30 days; vzw charge $20 for activiating the new phone..and now they charge $20 when you upgrade your phone while att charges $18.00. Can't wait till see the day vzw gets get left behind in dust behind att.

3G rollout

Does anyone know a timeline on AT&T's 3G rollout? I mean how many markets are covered now and by year end? I think 3G rocks, but I want to see it more wide spread.

Unfortunately EVDO is far more wide spread! 😢

I live in Michigan and only the 2 largest cities and close burbs are covered.

I also just want to note that I have had nextel, alltel, verizon, and now the best AT&T. I travel all over Michigan and AT&T's voice is hands down the best. I just want more 3G.

Any information out there would be great!!

Messaging phones?

Does anyone know if AT&T will start to offer more messaging phones? I really like the full qwerty keyboards, but the only ones really offered right now are the smartphone/blackberry style phones.

For example the enV style phone by VZW is kinda what I'm looking for. Are there any unlocked versions anyone can recommend?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Just Got Back From the AT&T DATA Seminar.............

It was pretty basic and nothing to really excite people about.

They went over feature opportunities in each respected market, and how to generate more income for the sales rep etc.

The funny thing was the mention of the economy and the situation people are in facing high gas prices.

They said that it doesn't really matter and that people will still put features on their device........???

Now come on, that is not really the case, and they didn't want to hear anything about the state of the economy.

Also,
Nokia, Sony, LG & the Rest had no new handsets except for the LG VU, which was a major let down.

While I was at the Sony Table talking to the rep about the K850 a crowd started to gather around and to check out the phone. ...

1Q 2008 Results

AT&T delivered strong wireless growth in the first quarter, reflecting the company's high-quality network, innovative services, attractive handset selection, extensive sales reach and continued improvements in operations. First-quarter 2008 results included:

Accelerated Wireless Revenue Growth. Total wireless revenues increased 18.3 percent versus the year-earlier first quarter to $11.8 billion. Wireless service revenues, which exclude handset and accessory sales, grew 17.1 percent to $10.6 billion. Revenue growth was driven by strong subscriber gains and continued improvement in ARPU (average monthly revenues per subscriber). AT&T has now posted seven consecutive quarters of year-over-year growth in wireless service ARPU, which was $50....
