With my recent move from ND to TX, this puts me in position to have a GSM phone for the first time. So, needless to say I am a little anxious to join att -- BUT -- I have been waiting a month with the anticipation that the new 3G iPhone will be released soon.

Has anyone heard of exactly when they might hit the stores? I know apple.com is not carrying stock and the premier att.com site through my employer do not have them listed any longer either.

If it will be within a reasonable amount of time, would I be able to return a phone within 30 days and exchange it for the new iPhone?

Effective June 2nd every phone that at&t offers will be covered by insurance except for the iPhone. There will be two deductibles: tier 1 which will be the basic phones will continue to be $50 and tier 2 which will be the pda's will be $125. Can we all say about time. Now i don't have to take anymore escalations from Blackberry or PDA owners who always say well Verizon and Sprint cover all of their devices and sit on the other end of the phone without a comeback because they only were speaking the truth. What does everyone think about this.

Are both models going to offer full internet web browsing? I have seen the iphone and is there any chance this web browser on the VU is going to be similar in any way?

Also, what is the price difference between the two versions of the LG VU, the TV and non-TV models?

Please include new contract pricing and no commitment costs.

I am going up grade my phone soon and with this in mind i am looking for my first pda/smartphone. I am not looking to invest a ton of change so i will opt for a refub. While i deeply desire to have wifi as an option, i think that this is out. Right now i am looking at the Blackjack II and the Moto Q. I have mixed feeling about them as i have seen different customer reviews. I also will not be in a major Tx city so i will not be able to use the fast web connection. i love the idea of using MSoffice apps. I have been told that i can keep using the media bundle package i have with my current plan with the blackjack II.

is this true or do i need to up to a pda plan.
what do i really need and what is just premier or preferred? which phone...

New phone with several charging sessions, but can never get more that 60 to 80% charge according to the phone status. Plus charge is nowhere near was predicted. Any ideas out there?

The new moto Z9 is also on there for $124 UPGRADE.....amazing prices. Hate all you want blah blah blah.....I'm sorry but If I can save Over $100 on a phone & put that in my gas tank....thats what I'm gonna do!! I thought I had heard them all. I had this lady calling, she wanted to port from Verizon, and she wanted to get the "sorry erica" w580i. The funniest thing of this all is that she sounded so sure that that was the name of the manufacturer. And repeated it like 3 times.

We are nearing a conversion to ATT in our area and I am opening a new store... does anybody have color codes for ATT blue or the old orange?

So what are the real world speeds that people are getting with this? There is always a huge discrepency between advertised and actual speeds, but I'm curious as to what poeple are getting on average.

The dealer I work for is requiring us to get pda's, which is fine for me because I was already looking at getting one. I live in a rural area that has coverage issues so I need one that will pick up good. Other than that I am open. Any suggestions and why would be a huge help. I know the specs and have done a comparison but actual owner experience would be a big help.

I was wondering. Now that some regional carriers offer unlimited calling plans and the big carriers like, AT&T, Verizon, Tmobile & Sprint have a unlimited plan too; I think next step into the getting and keeping customers would be presenting more aggressive plans.

Yes is true a $ 99.99 unlimited calling plan is better that getting a $300 bill or even more but that does not include messaging, email, web browsing, etc meaning if you want to take full advantage of phone capabilities you will have to add several services therefore increasing montly payment.

I noticed sprint step forward with their simple everything unlimited where everything is included and I believe AT&T and verizon should start offering a type of plan like that.

will at&t ever have service in the metro tunnels like verizon? i'm moving to dc and will use the metro a lot and might switch to verizon because they have coverage in the metro.....

why does asurion or whoever AT&T uses not cover the iphone?

I went into my at&t store today to grab a new case for my phone, and there is signage for the SONY E. K850. Also there is a dummy phone on the front display at the store, with a handwritten note that said "COMING SOON".....

Kinda confusing...I'm in IL if this helps... lol

I just think the manager is eager to attract people to the store...

who comes up with these ideas? customers calling in all pissed off because their att account is suspended due to non-pay on their final (or 2nd to final) bills.. nice of cellone to xfer over credit balances over to the new att account, but why not just xfer over the remaining balanced owed on the prior account as well, which would save the customer from getting shut off and being billed a reconnect fee. seems kinda scandalous to me.

I dont want to bite the hand that feeds me, but someone should have thought this whole migration thing through.

Today I went to one of AT&T's corporate stores in a Northern Virginia mall to purchase a data cable for my Nokia phone.

One of the associates told me they don't have any but he has some at home and is willing to sell one to me for $20 instead of the store price of $30.

I am not trolling or anything. I am just shocked by this.

What the hell kind of practice is this?
