I just wanted to say that some of the posts that have gone in here today have been ridiculous.

I hope ya'll understand that verizon peeps are excited about the acquisition but some aren't mature enough to express it in a mature manner.

Can you reset the Palm 750 to the Palm OS?

VolumeCare works on most Palm phones but not the 750. So it must be software dependent. So if I reset the 750 to the Palm OS I should be able to install VolumeCare.

Any word on how much it is going to cost with a 1 year and a 2 year contract? Thanks

So I upgrade a customer stright out of the gate this morning. She stated she was going to China and Japan in a few weeks. So I put her into a z750 as it picks up UMTS 2100 mhz frequency. She further inquires about getting this new phone unlocked.

So I call care and tell them the customer is needing the unlock code for her new phone and that I wish to be transfered to Teir 2 tech support so they can start a case request. Done this many times before with a week turnaround time.

The CS rep tells me to hold on....anticipating she warm transfers me over to tech support. She comes back 30 seconds later and asks if I was ready. I said sure, and she gave me the unlock code. I was surprised she generated it so quick.

Quick Question.

I have a customer I just signed up for a new activation, and her husband is moving down here from Canada.

He has the Sony K850 and wants to know if I can add him on to her plan and he can still use his Rogers K850i with an AT&T Sim.

Not sure if or how he needs to unlock the phone once he comes down her next week.

I need the new Activation so any help would be great!

I am looking to block a number of someone who is harassing me and I dont want to change my number. I was looking into this and ran across the Smart Limits feature. It says you can limit numbers of people who contact you. I really dont want to have to change my number if I dont have to so I was wondering if this feature will work as a block just for that specific number? I need to do something and I need to do it quickly.

I have an 8310 which I replaced a week ago through warranty. I had no problem for the first 5 days but since Friday my phone has started to delete phone logs and sms (fortunately not e-mails yet). Do I need to replace it again or is this a network issue because I have sold this phone to a lot of customers backing the berry over the iphone and others. Now this is a problem I haven't seen with the pearl so it leads me to believe that it is a phone issue. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. No problem with calls I still think the berry makes the best overall phone in terms of calling.

I have a customer, who has never had a PDA..

He wants it to Sync to computer, to bring over Files to read while on the go, like PDF or Word Docs.

He also wants a great contact list, setup with as much info as possible for a business he is starting.

1. I am worried the Tilt will be too much for him to handle and or the software won't hold up.

He wants the Tilt, but does anybody reccomend a more cost effective and sound purchase.

I have a customer questioning how to change network settings to exclude 3g on the Tilt. He has been told by fellow employees that changing to 2g extends battery life. He's not concerned about network speed. Any ideas?

I am looking to change to AT&T and have seen this small music phone by Sony. It seems to have great features for the price. I have seen some comments in various places that say it might not hold up real well. Any feedback from folks on whether this would be a good phone over a 2-year contract? Any other options we should look at? I think my wife is keen on its ability to replace her ipod nano and still hook into her car.

-Is the camera really not that impressive?

-Does speakerphone absolutley BLOW?

-Is battery life really sub-par?

-Is the joy-stick super sensitive?

-Are the ringers kinda on the low side?

can someone please explain to me why CDMA/Verizon is better (coverage) than AT&T? i have an iphone and love it but will be moving to DC and love the fact that verizon covers customers in the metro/subway where my iphone is dead......serious question no jokes.....i want educated here!

Thought I'd share a pleasant customer service experience I had yesterday... My wife has an SE W580i and all of a sudden the display went crazy and you couldn't read any menus, messages, etc. It was all just black garbled text on top of the wallpaper.

The phone was about 110 days old and had no insurance on it, so I was afraid of what my service options might be. I looked online and learned that there was an AT&T Device Support Center very close to my home.

I walked in with the phone, spoke to the rep, and in about 15 minutes he handed me a replacement, refurbished phone, identical to the one I brought in. It was pretty quick and painless, and I was pleasantly surprised.

Anyone have an issue where you are in the middle of a call, you have 3-5 bars and while talking, you heard a tone (like the number disconnected tone?) and the call ends. This has happened to me and my gf, I have a bb 8310, she has a nokia 6555 and were in the upstate ny market area. any help would be appreciated!
