I read on engadgetmobile.com that activations will be in store only..... however I already called my local apple store and they confirmed that you can still buy it and take it home to activate it.

It seems likely that in store activation will not be mandatory.... it makes more sense that it will be an option for those who don't want to try it themselves.

Any input here guys on the real truth?

There have been many threads about comparing the iPhone to the Nokia 95, what about the BB Curve and its new OS version 4.5? Now the Curve has video and a cool looking browser.

I have looked at the specs for the N 95, and I think it would be overkill for me.

Thoughts anyone? Maybe this is more of an apples to oranges comparison than N 95 vs iPhone, who knows.

Hello! I'm asking this for a family member. Me and my mom have At & T and have been happy w/them. My sister and her husband have At & T as well and last year they moved to Vandenberg Air force base in CA. Previously they had decent service but in CA the service is horrible, we probably get disconnected 5+ times a conversation and what's really frustrating is that you have to wait a minute or two to call the person back after you get disconnected. So my sister's husband's phone broke and they went to the store to see about getting a new phone and was told that the only option was to pay full retail price. They spoke to a manager who told them they could call CS and speak to a manager who could maybe get them out of the contract due to t...

More concerenced about if you can on the 3G iphone coming...but I heard that you cannot have mp3 ringtones? Does this mean you cannot use a full mp3 has a ringtone or you cannot have even a 30 second mp3 "real music" ringtone????? Thanks!
